I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to *** ** *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowMy complaint is that I did not receive anything in the mail from anyone outlining the chargesWhen I spoke with *** on the phone she said we would not receive our deposit backOf course we were upset, but let it goMy problem is being sent to collections without proper noticeWe cared for our unit, and have pictures including some walls that did need paintedMy biggest problem with being charged for having to paint the unit is; the only painting that was done was over the holes that were patchedIf we had only left the patched holes they would have had to paint the same amount of the apartmentThere is nothing that states we cannot hang pictures in the unit, and the same amount of work would have been requiredI do have one picture of a wall that my husband patched, and there is not unmatched paint on itIt is our concern that they saw we did the work and did what they needed to do to charge us to the fullest extentIt did not cost the $to "repaint" the covered holesNothing else is being disputedThat apartment was left spotless, and there was no need to send us to collections when they failed to make contactIt is quite comical that the collections agency was provided with our phone number by management of the apartments, and he made contactSo if the certified letter was rejected, and they wanted to do what was right they had the correct phone number for us

See attachment for original.Refrigerator - April 28, 2016 tenant reported refrigerator leaking inside on April 29 we advised new refrigerator and was under warranty and [redacted] was called and earliest it could be scheduled was mid May and she stated no problem, no rush as they were turning in keys in...

a few weeks. May 15, 2016 emailed advising [redacted] would be entering the unit on May 16" to make repair on ice maker work order. She responded was in to do some cleaning Saturday prior to May 15, and noticed there was still water in bottom of refrigerator and thanked for the update. Water on the floor was not mentioned.Paint- Yes, tenant did patch all holes from pictures and curtains that were hung, but tenant touched up the walls with wrong paint, which required a total repaint. Also, the charge for repaint was a pro-rated  amount.Correspondence was mailed by both certified and regular mail to the address provided by tenant. The certified was returned, but not the letter sent regular [redacted]. Have the certified return in our file proving was mailed to the address provided by tenant.The tenant called us apparently after receiving correspondence of charges and amount due. Stated would not pay the outstanding charges and was argumentative about being charged for paint.  Advised they chose to touch up unit.As per our correspondence the outstanding balance was sent to collections.
