It has been extremely pleasant working with Corey Landry broker at Lighthouse Transportation Services. He makes booking loads easy, and the communication is second to none. Each time I booked a load with him, I felt like I got a great rate and it was always in range of the broker to carrier rate for the lane covered.

I do not pay lumper fees, nor do I take reimbursements.If LTS had paid for lumper service in advance,they probably would have paid $50.00 for lumper service on- site [redacted] that was available by a company,  other than my company.I fueled my truck and reefer [redacted] before picking up this load,[redacted],the broker for this load .Knew of this fact,at that time ,a com check could have been sent to my company for me to pay the lumper service at the Aldi warehouse.The fact of this matter is ,I removed the load from my truck and  palletized the boxes seven high ,which detained my truck. The balance left is $100.00,even if they do not pay me,What is owed ,I would like for other owner operators to view my experience and decide ,whether or not they would like to carry a load for this company.This is why I usually turn down loads that have any thing to do with lumping, companies like Lts degrades this business.Rate confirmation should have been sent to my company instead of the Revdex.com.This company is very unprofessional.I will share this experience at every dock and truck stop available, and facebook.

[redacted] was the sales person on this particular load. The rate confirmation for the load is attached. We not only paid this carrier, but we paid him with a comcheck that he could cash same day. We did this both as a courtesy and so we did not have to deal with his harassing phone calls any...

The following message was copy/pasted directly from an email sent from [redacted] to [redacted] on Wed, 8/24 resolving the unloading issue: "[redacted],I apologize that you lumped your own load for some reason, but we del to that facility weekly and actually had another truck del with the exact same load that had a $50 lumper, as always.  Even without a receipt I am willing to provide you with $50 that we always pay.  Please let me know if you want to bill us for the $50 or you would like a com check.  Hope you have a great day.Thanks, [redacted] Account Executive  " Hopefully this resolves this matter. Attached is the Invoice that [redacted] faxed to LTS on 8/26. There was not even a lumper receipt attached, and we reimbursed the $50 that the receiver would have charged despite this fact. We paid the balance less the quick pay fee of 5% same day.  LTS always reimburses lumper fees, and have done so for carriers at this receiver numerous times. We would never pay a $150 lumper fee when the facility only charges $50. Please let [redacted] know that this invoice has been paid in full and no balance remains.
