Review: Italian Glass Chandelier was sold as is, however, Erik Lighting sales lady did not mention at time of sale that the item was not exchangeable at time of purchase. We made a phone call prior to picking up the lighting peice that we may want to look at another light as I ([redacted]) wanted to have my husband look at the item and inspect it as it was hung very high in the showroom and the defect with the " as is" was only supposed to be a few crystals missing on the bottom...When going to the showroom to pick up the company took very long to bring out the non return or exchanged item...The whole group was extremely rude and demanded that we had to take this item and it would not be refunded. I had other items and needed others and was allowed to return these...but not the Italian. The man who tossed it into my husbands hands (husband has mobility issues) did not take it to our vehicle as promised. The Italian glass flower lighting was very defective! more so than the company led us to believe. We did not put it up until our dining room was renovated. When inspecting it one of the main components a lighted glass flower was cracked and fell on our Stickley Table...the light did not light and the bulbs were supposed to be new. We are very very hurt and disturbed by the treatment of us as customers and the complete disregard for this completely defective lighting piece for the price of $675.00. Our thought is we were pushed into taking this light and it was deceptive as the light was cracked in more places than we were aware of....also the new bulbs that we were to get with this light are not included and one of them does not work. We need immediate action. Erik told us that we will get a service man in to take a look at this light. We have not heard back yet. WE have been waiting for a call. The rude treatment is not a great theme for this economy. This light meant a lot to me and my disabled husband. I would not recommend this lighting company to anyone. SAD place.Desired Settlement: We want the light to be repaired and reduced in price as the defects were multiple. We want to be insured that this will be viable lighting in our dining area.
