Review: I wished I had read the online reviews of this business before I made the mistake of ordering an expensive light fixture from them. It's been two months since I ordered this item and it still has not be received and their "customer service" dept. does not return phone calls. they also have a no re-fund policy so basically they have stolen my money and not delivered my merchandise and it seems as if there's nothing I can do about it until if and when they decide to ship my merchandise to me. this is unacceptable. I cannot believe this place is allowed to stay in business.Desired Settlement: I would like a full credit for this merchandise!!!

Review: We bought a new lamp and had it delivered. The top socket did not work although the other 3 did. The bulb I used in the top socket worked in a different lamp so it was not a problem with the bulb. I called the store twice, left messages for [redacted], our salesman and he didn't get back to me. My wife got an email from customer service and said she would refer our problem to the lamp's manufacturer. I called them and they were unable to help directly. They suggested bringing the lamp in for repair at housewares store that is located closer to us. Since the lamp would be awkward to transport and I didn't want to pay to have a brand new lamp repaired we decided to file a complaint.Desired Settlement: Since 3 out of the 4 sockets worked, we would like a 25% refund in cash of $161 - which is 25% of the $664 cost of the lamp.

We have been trying to help this customer but have not heard back from him since presenting options. This customer dealt directly with the manufacturer of his lamp (Holtkoetter). He was presented with 3 options:

1. Take the lamp back to the retailer (Lighting by [redacted]) for repair & return

2. Take the lamp back to the retailer for a full refund

3. Take the lamp to a nearby shop for a no charge repair.

Please have the customer respond to [redacted] - [redacted] or our showroom customer service [redacted]

Regarding the issue that the lamp is too bulky, it can be taken apart for travel.

Review: I needed to cancel an order because this company could not supply an adequate amount of merchandise. Instead of reversing the charge to my credit card, they claimed they would issue a refund check. A month later I'd received no check and had only been told it was "being processed." I finally had to have the credit card company get involved and they reversed the charge.Desired Settlement: Apology for shoddy customer service.
