Review: Nina Seirafi Interior Design placed an order for picture lights through their sales representative at The Lighting Center. Payment was sent in full by check on April [redacted] 2013. There were several correspondences between Nina Seirafi Interior Design and The Lighting Center in relation to this order up until May [redacted]. After May [redacted] Nina Seirafi Interior Design tried calling and emailing their representative, other representatives, and customer service. The Lighting Center's phone had been shut off. Nina Seirafi Interior Design did not receive a response or message that the Lighting Center had closed. Nina Seirafi Interior Design found out of the Lighting Center's sudden close through the manufacturer of the picture lights, House of Troy. House of Troy informed Nina Seirafi Interior Design that all orders from Lighting Center had been canceled and no longer existed in their system and were not able to get in contact with the Lighting Center.Desired Settlement: Nina Seirafi Interior Design would like to be refunded the money that was paid for goods that were never received. Check was sent in the amount of $1,945.00

Review: On May [redacted] 2013 I placed an order amounting to $2,400.00 with this company (I have been doing business with the lighting center since 1983). I was told I had to pay in full since it was a special item and it would take 6 weeks for completion. On the first week of June I called to check on my order, there was no answer, so I went to the showroom to speak to the Sales Person in person. What I found was that the showroom closed it doors.....went out of business. I was not notified, so I immediately called the supplier only to find out that my order was never placed with them and my check was cashed. I want to file in small claim court but I can not find the owners name. The building renting agent can not share this information with me and the sales person is reluctant to give me to give his name.Desired Settlement: To find the business proprietor, so I can try to recoup my money thru small claim court.
