Classic Bait and Switch
I ordered a mounting adapter (CMA) for a ceiling fan from the website - the website showed two pieces to the adapter: the cast support bracket that mounts to the electric box and suspends the fan from the ball end fitting on the fan and a cover. What was received was a sheet metal bracket and cover. I am unable to use this to mount a fan and is not what was offered on the website. They refused to take it back or send me the correct part.

Great Products for a Fair Price
I ordered 16 path lights P5219-31. The price was a clearance item that sold for nearly 70% below retail. I was skeptical at first ,in fact tried to cancel the order but was told the order was too far along to cancel. About 5 days later my order arrived in factory packaging and no issues with the order. We also ordered accessories for these lights(stem pole) but returned them since we changed our mind. Returning was simple and without a problem. Overall we are very pleased with Lighting Design Experts. I am an electrician and would recommend them to my customers. In addition, customer service always called me back rather than stay on hold.

Poor customer service
I ordered 2 light fixtures in May; they showed up on time but glass was completely broken During shipment. I advised this company, uploaded pix and requested replacement. I am sure they filed claim with FedEx for damages. I tried to call, left messages, emailed several times asking about status of replacement. No answer.
It is end of July and they just emailed me that they don’t have those fixtures in stock any longer , it will take three more months To ship from manufacturer. Very poor service. Do not order from them

I highly suggest you do not order from Lighting Design Experts (lightingdesignexperts.com). On April 29th, 2019, I ordered 2 ceiling fans for a living room remodel project, and received an order confirmation email with an order number. On May 6th I went to check on the status of the order at the website and entered in my order number. The website gave me a message: “We are unable to find any orders for you. If you believe this is an error, please contact our customer service team at 1-855-300-9231.”

I called, and the customer service rep, Lonzo, stated that my order had been cancelled. The reason for this was that they had for some reason detected a possibility of fraud, and as part of their policy, they did not process the order. They also said it was their policy to not tell the customer they had not processed the order. If I had not called, I would be waiting for fans that would never have arrived.

Lonzo would not tell my why this was their policy. He also told me they would not process the order now after I had called, and he was not willing to escalate my concern to a manager.

What a bad way to treat new customer. I have never had an e-commerce experience like this, and was angry enough to write this so others can hopefully avoid a similar experience. There are many places to buy ceiling fans online, and I suggest you go somewhere other than lightingdesignexperts.com.

Do not use this company that RIF OFF bad service bad furniture...please don't use them

I call them 3-4 times every days. The label return need to be replace. Send two emails
address nothing...What wrong with them. Scammmmmmmmmm

I just bought a mirror that I was in love since forever (because the price in others stores was to high and couldn't afford) and I was thrilled in find on this website.

Now, imagine receive in 2 DAYS!!!! OWWW I was so surprised when the FedEx came that I couldn't believe it till I open the box...

I would definitely recommend this site.

The only down side is that since I chose the free shipping, FedEx left the box almost in the curb (liftgate), so I had to bring it inside, BUT because I decided not to pay for a Inside delivery... Never happened before with me.

My wife and I purchased 3 items from this company for our new home. One item had a broken glass. It was replaced, but only after I had to follow up on my initial replacement request. Another item was missing 3 parts. We were made to purchase a replacement, and charged more. before they would ship the replacement and then take our defective one back. DO NOT use this company. They are a a RIP OF!
