John L[redacted] jumped up & down on my roof! Even his buddy, Randy, was shocked. However, Randy broke a handle on a faucet during his "inspection." Do not let these jerks on your property! They focused on cosmetic details, making it seem "structural" and neglected to notice things like a water heater in one unit, saying there was none. They are destructive. ","neg-1

This person name [redacted] came in to do home inspection I dont know how he got licence but he is endengering public safety he doesn't inspect the important things in a home that matters to peoples safety like gas line, electrical safety all he did was cosmetic staff and he is very rude just like the realtor who brought him with bad body odor. I have seen so many home inspections in my life time but eventhough I am the seller I still worry about the innocent buyers safety I think this guy he should be investigated for public safety reason.Product_Or_Service: home inspectionDesired SettlementFrom my experience from dealing with realestate issues I think he should be investigated not only he smells very bad but his knowledge as home inspector is non existant but also he lies on reports he will tell what ever the customer wants to hear just to make $250 dollars public should be aware from this person.Business Response To whom it may concern:This letter is to clarify the events that took place during the home inspection on 4/2/2015. I was hired by the potential home buyer to perform an inspection to identify any potential items that would need to be addressed before the home could be sold. I have been inspecting homes for 20 years and during that time frame the only people who are present at an inspection are the realtor and the home buyer. It is very rare for the seller of the property to be present, unless they are the one who requested the inspection, however, this was not the case. During the inspection [redacted], the home seller, was present during the time I was performing the inspection. I feel he was obstructing my inspection preventing me from being able to do my job effectively. As far as the complaints of public safety and what I did and did not inspect, his claims have no merit as he is not a licensed home inspector and does know what should and should not be inspected. In regards to the property in question, it is a condominium and certain aspects would not be inspected because they would be the responsibility of the homeowner's association and not the owner of the actual condominium. My actual report is available to the Revdex.com upon request to view the items I did inspect, which include electrical and gas line as well as all the other areas of the home that were inspected. Please contact me with any questions regarding this matter.Sincerely,[redacted]Lightner Inspections, Inc.
