When you are in a hurry to transport a car, please find another. We were told one thing and when it came to crunch time (to pick up the car) they couldn't find a carrier at the quoted price and was going to put it on the "open market" to receive a "new" price. This was the day we were to leave our location and the car was supposed to be picked up. It could be ANYTHING!! or ANY AMOUNT. When we decided they were shysters, we drove it ourselves and still lost the $150.00 deposit. They are not trustworthy. Engage at your own risk. I'm checking the one star just to give it a rating but should really be 0 stars.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. BEWARE. LOST MY CAR, DOES NOT KNOW WHERE IT IS OR WHEN IT WILL GET TO MY DAUGHTER IN COLLEGE. Zero communication, horrible customer service. Said my vehicle would be delivered in 3-5 days, got a text from a drive saying 8-9 days after they picked it up. No one returns phone calls, they don't know where my vehicle or the driver is located. Do not know if truck is in the shop, broken down or on the road. Carrier speaks no English and will not answer phone calls. *** was rude and hung on me. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Still have no idea where my car is.

The car was never lost at any point in time. The truck broke down and was delayed. This happened late Saturday night when we were out of the office and closed. We work Mon - Sat 8am - 8pm and we are closed on Sundays. We and the driver were in touch with her the entire time except when the driver was in spots where he got no service. Where he broke down at he had very limited service at that location. The delivery would have been about 3 -5 days if this unforeseen break down did not happen, We are very sorry it did. We can not control certain things that cause delays like weather, traffic, or break downs. The driver told me what happen Monday morning and told me he informed the customer as well. The driver then told me what I later experienced myself which is how rude the customer spoke to him. I then called the customer and experienced that same thing. I tried to explain to her where the truck was, when it will be repaired, and what exactly happen along with other details. She would not let me get a word in and was very rude while using awful language. I have been on this industry about 15 years and I work with all types of people including drivers and I have NEVER in my life had someone speak to me the way she did. I told her if she does not stop the call will end and will have to resume later once she cools down. I do not care who you are or what you did no one should be spoken to or called the names that she said to me and my driver. Her car is on the way and should be there today. Yes it is late and we are again very sorry and wish this never happened. The driver is working with her after the things she said to him to still provide compensation.

We always do are very best and we speak and treat all with respect. We are sorry the truck broke down but these things happen to all companies in this industry. It is not common for us but it is a reality we have to deal with and the way she handled it was very wrong. We will try are best to prevent this from ever happening again.

Lightning Auto Carriers quoted me a price of $250 to ship a pickup truck from Wisc. to Mich. with a $100 deposit. They can't find anyone to do it and refuse to refund my deposit. They advertise that they have a "Pick Your Own Price Program" if another service offers a lower price, but they can't even hold to the quoted agreement that they gave me. They actually called and asked for an additional $300. Save yourself time and money. Use a different transport company.

I scheduled a car to be picked-up in Arizona in February ( I gave 3 weeks notice from pick up date, and then reminded them a week before the pick-up date). I was told they were working on a driver within the requested dates I gave them. Once I flew to Phoenix I called again to confirm and they started waffling, saying nobody was accepting the load. Basically they left me hanging, I found another carrier who responded and gave me a driver and company and pick-up date. Of course I had to pay more based on short-term timing. In my opinion, Lightning bids low to get the contract, and then falters when they cant get someone to pick-up. My advise is pay a little more and get someone reliable. I do not recommend this Carrier Broker and there are several to choose from. I used TM Shipping and they were great!

This customer is not found anywhwere in are system and is clearly a competitor trying to advertise for his company TM Shipping.

I find that interesting since I have the contract I signed as well as all the email correspondence. I am happy to send you that if needed, but I don't appreciate their response given what I went through. I left you 2 messages today and would appreciate an email or call back.
