Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Assuming the fixture is refunded in full, I will withdraw my complaint The president of the company assured me on a phone call that I would receive a refund Although my designer purchased the light, Lightology's shipped the light to me and in fact, called me and communicated with me when I received the light The company had my name and address on the shipping labels It is disingenuous to argue that I have no direct recourse against them here My designer selected the light based on the appearance of this fixture on lightology's website She had no way to know there were quality issues with the construction of the light and the molding of the plastic being subpar, in addition to the misleading pictures on lightology's website I was absolutely told by Kristie in customer service to install the light to evaluate whether the appearance of the light matched the website because the light is illuminated on the website picture Only after installing the light was I told that this voided the return I have been assured that I will receive a complete refund on the light onto the cc used to purchase the light I do not agree with anything in the response to my complaint Sincerely, Melissa [redacted]

The person complaining is not actually the customer that made this purchase...the fixture was selected by the customers interior designer and purchased through the interior designer account...we state in every possible place we can that once a fixture is installed it is not returnable but maybe the
person making this complaint did not realize this since the fixture was purchased through her interior designer who failed to communicate this to her...this verbiage appears on every order confirmation and multiple places within our website that provide our complete return policy...the person making this complaint was never instructed to install the fixture, our customer service person informed the complainant that she would contact the vendor for more information and simply mentioned that maybe the fixture looked different because in the online picture the fixture was lit up...the complainant then took it upon herself to install the fixture...Even though the fixture was installed we still offered the complainant a refund with a minimal restocking fee for store credit so she could purchase a new fixture...we made every effort to come to a fair resolution but the customer refused every offer we made to resolve this amicably

I purchased a product from Lightology that was completely mislabeled and the description was completely inaccurateEven after submitting a review and contacting customer service, I have not recieved any communications from LightologyThey still advertise and sell the same product with title and description ***)The product is described as a Bcandelabra base (E12) but it is a Cbase holiday bulb
