I would like to add that I called my bank to verify that a credit had been posted to my account. The answer was positive, but unlike the merchant's claim that he posted the credit on 10/** - he really posted it on the [redacted], AFTER receiving the complaint from  Revdex.com. Thank you for helping to resolve this matter.

Review: On Saturday 11/**/15 we purchased under the cabinet lighting from Lights on Design in [redacted]. The sales person and owner never mentioned that they did not provide cash refunds. On Sunday 11/**/15 we returned to the store to return the lights. He informed us they did not accept returns,only store credit. He said it was posted in the store and it was on the reciept. There was a sign on the counter that stated the policy if you did not have the reciept. There were signs posted above à desk behind the counter. Not very visable.We did not purchase closeout items and did not pay a closeout price. The store did not clearly display no returns. No reputable business has such a policy.The majority of stores will inform you that the sale is final and only store credit is available.We believe their policy and practices are not usual and customary,therefore they should clearly inform customers of their

policy.We would appreciate your help protecting our consumer rights and help us secure a full cash return.

They asked our policy in case they needed to exchange a size. We told them there are NO REFUNDS. You absolutely can exchange. They had no problems with our policy. They took the merchandise. On Sunday they came back and said they wanted to return the lights because their contractor purchased the lights somewhere else. We said you can exchange and we will get you what your contractor purchased or you can have a store credit or keep what they bought from us and return what the contractor purchased which was not from us. We have our store policy displayed all over all our counters and where the customers sign their credit card receipts also has our policy and is clear . No refunds. exchanges only.

Review: On 9/**/2015 I went to the store and purchased 2 light fixtures for my kitchen for $210.18. When a week later an electrician came to install them we realized we had the wrong size (16" instead of 20"). I went back to the store and returned the fixtures and asked to replace them with a larger size. The salesman told me that they didn't have the 20" but he could order it for me. After calling almost everyday to find out if they received the order, I was notified that they couldn't get the new fixtures and that they would post a credit to my credit card. When for two weeks I was unable to see this credit on my account. I called again. The salesperson insisted that a refund had been posted to my credit card and suggested that I contact my bank. I've done just that and was notified by my bank that no such credit had been posted.

When I called again this morning, the salesperson hung up on me. It is clear that they refuse to give me a refund, although I was willing to wait for them to get the right size fixtures. I have no use for their store credit!Desired Settlement: Contact the store and request that a credit of $210.18 be posted back to my account.
