Lights Plumbing replaced the handle on a toilet at my home.
They had to 'special order' the part -- which was plastic and cheap and ended up breaking within 1 week of installation.
I called the business multiple times over several days, but they never called me back until I threatened to call Revdex.com.
The the owner, Jason Light, finally called me back but upon hearing my complaint, he was unhelpful and defended their work.
After a heated discussion, he agreed to refund my money ($145). That was on Wednesday, July 1; I have yet to receive a check.
Great company does a great job . Very knowledgeable. And cleans up .
I called lights plumbing because our drains weren’t draining through our home, after their inspection I was informed I had a main drain clog and they cleared it and cleaned our lines. They also stated we had no fall to our pipes which was causing belly’s in the lines causing water retention and quoted me for fixing that. I paid them 499 and they left. The next evening the issue was reoccurring so I reached out to them to come back and fix the issue I had just paid for, instead of offering to come back he blamed the issues on the water retention and said he wouldn’t come for a couple days. Being that we are a family of 6 it’s unacceptable to expect us to wait two days when he advertises as a 24 hour company. I called another plumber who came out and opened our main line confirming that Lights Plumbing didn’t clean the line at all so he went ahead and done that and also ran his camera and didn’t see any bellying in our lines, what we needed our septic tank pumped and the back up would stop. So we had to pay that plumber and a septic service because Lights Plumbing incorrectly diagnosed the issue and also lied about cleaning our main drain line.
We cleared the main line out and used our camera to verify. We do not give warranty’s on drains that have issues, unfortunately they had a 4” main that was retaining water due to incorrect fall we explained this to Mrs ***. We also have an est to repair said issues. She called in on a Saturday night around 10.pm demanding someone come out in which no one was available At the time. we did offer to come out first thing Monday morning for her free of charge to take a look and see if we could help her out she blatantly declined and hung up on us then started calling our office threatening to sue us . Mrs *** and her family members then proceeded to go online and start posting slanderous remarks about our company in which we had to get an attorney involved unfortunately.
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference,I have attached some of the screenshots showing proof that *** I called a little after 8pm Saturday which is when we arrived home from being gone all day. *** did not clean our main line nor do we have any issues with the falls in our lines. We have had another plumber come do a diagnostic two days after *** supposedly serviced for us and nothing he says he found the other plumber found. But what he did find was that our main line had not been cleaned and our sump pump needed to be pumped. The second plumber cleaned our main line and we had to have another company pump out our septic tank. Since that was completed we have had no issues but some how hours after *** cleaned our line it got dirty and back flow happened without anyone even being home.... he has refused to show me any video stating it’s his property but originally he stated he would show it to us ***, I did leave a one star review stating my concerns and instead of being respectful he immediately got defensive and began to lie. I have plenty more screen shots and proof from our other plumber that *** didn’t do what he charges me $499 for. I deserve a full refund! And yes I did decline his return service offer because we had backflow running out of our toilets which could not wait for him to “find time” to come back out two days later and look at the issue again. Plus he was very rude, so I called the receptionist back and that’s when she apologized and said unfortunately *** is the owner and while we do advertise 24 hour service he’s not willing to come back out until Monday, which left me with no option but to call someone else who could come immediately. I want a full refund as services where not rendered as stated.

We did our job as we should have, we are now moving on from this ordeal we have lots of great customers we service day in and out and have no issues . Unfortunately we cannot please everyone. Have a wonderful day.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This company did not do anything except ***, they are not offering any resolution ***. Attached is the proof that my main line he charged me $499 to clean in fact was no cleaned as another plumber had to do it, and again there are NO ISSUES with the falls in our pipes our septic tank was full and needed to be pumped, which was the reason for the back flow, *** and seems to be okay with his invisible work.
