Amazing Customer Service
Hello, my name is Adam. A former client of Lightspeed VT.

Somewhere last year I cancelled my subscription due to me moving to another course service provider. At first I downloaded all the videos I originally uploaded and upon saving them to my pc, I deleted them.

Just a few days ago my PC has been stolen, and I lost all my work. So I reached out to the support team at Lightspeed VT, in the hopes that they might have my videos still (after 6 months, and after I have actually deleted them).

It was a bit of work, but their amazing team managed to find a way to recover my videos, and make them available for me to download them. This is very much appreciated as these videos were months of work for me.

I want to extend my highest appreciation to Arnaldo and Kendra who have always helped me with my inquiries whenever I had them!

They could improve the interface a bit to make it more modern but I know they are working on it.

I contracted with this company to build a corporate website. It was agreed I make payments until the fee was paid. As of today, I paid 68% of the fee. However due to the death of my business partner, I am unable to continue with the project. I've contacted the company three times by mail and many times by phone. The company has not returned my calls, provided copy of my contract or sent me a refund.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like the company to provide a copy of the signed agreement. And return the money I've already paid, which is $17,000.

We have worked with the client since he signed his agreement on 11/21/17. Normally the full amount is due at the time of signing but his agreement was set up with a payment schedule to end on 12/31/18. We do not have a payment schedule with many clients. On 4/30/18 we also adjusted the monthly minimums due with an addendum for nine months to assist during the time of financial constraints. We have also delayed the payment schedule that was within the signed agreement, to work with the client to postpone payments due for the system until he was able to finalize and launch. Another sales representative of our company has even called to assist with helping to complete the system with him. We continuously work with our clients to help them succeed.
We let the client know we do not issue refunds but will "pause" the system and payments due until he is ready to continue at a more convenient time. We have everything listed on the agreement he signed on 11/21/17 and feel as if we have been more than fair and accommodating.

This is the first time I received a copy of the agreement after numerous request. In the agreement, it states Article IV, Sect 4.3.1, Client can cancel without cause 120 days prior to the expiration of the term. I've done this. I first notified the company January 2019. There is no section in the agreement that states the company has a NO REFUND policy. Furthermore, no service has been provided by the company. As such, I am entitle to request a full refund for services NOT PERFORMED.

LightSpeed VT apologizes the outcome is not to your expectations. When requested, the agreement you signed electronically on 11/21/17 was supplied. Most business establishments will maintain a copy of all signed agreements within their records. It was an error to presume your company would have maintained a copy of the signed agreement, as it is a common business practice.
Although the signed agreement listed schedule payment due dates, LightSpeed VT has accommodated the multiple requests to delay payments. You are correct in stating the agreement may be cancelled 120 days prior to expiration of the existing term, refunds will not be issued. As stated previously, the funds will be held on account until *** is ready to proceed with the system.
