Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I understand that Mr. [redacted]
has been in business for 40 years.  However, given his experience, he
should be able to provide customer satisfaction.  Mr. [redacted] still did not
mention anything about a refund.  I asked, if it was possible for him to
get the paint from the dealership to ensure the paint matched, but he refused.
 I asked for a refund to take it to another shop and still he has not
mentioned anything about a warranty, refund, solution, etc.  Mr. [redacted]
mentioned that, “I was angered” and that is a false statement. I was
confused because to my knowledge and to the previous owner's (my father)
knowledge, the car had never been in an accident (I also checked the Carfax for
this information and nothing was reported).  The facts are that he
overcharged me labor (compared to the dealership/progressive estimates) as you
will see in the attachments, the paint does not match, and the front bumper
(which "he attached," is detached.)   I do not mind that he
keeps the difference for the work that he did complete well and for the parts
he purchased.  However, I still would like a refund for the front bumper
(which is detached), the cost to fix the paint, and the difference from the
overcharged labor.  Additionally, he mentioned that he went to me to get
paid and as I mentioned before, this is because he wanted to receive a cash
payment (yet he never mentioned this prior to me picking up the vehicle) and I only had my card, and he wanted to receive his payment as soon as
possible the following day (Refer to text screenshots).Please refer to the attachments.  It is just obnoxious that he charged me more than twice as much than the dealership and progressive quote me for.  Additionally, he did not replacement all the parts that they quoted me for.

I pride myself in quality repair work with over 40 years experience. This is a clear case of wanting your cake and eating it also. This lady not only wanted her vehicle repaied, but wanted additional repairs, non accident related. Angered because I would not go after her insurance co.  for...

additional  repair in rear due to prior damage. She complained later about color match so I let her go with me to my supplier where they explained not only did they go by paint code, but by vin # which gives direct manufacturer tinting. I recoated again with match from gas lid I took to supplier fpor color matching. From beginning she wanted $1500 off the top when I could only provide her with $1200. I think she took offence thinking I'm not suppose to get paid for my labor. I provided her with an itemized repair order in detail. And yes I trusted her with her vehicle and came back to pay me later. P.S. I had to go to her to get paid.
