Horrible experience with Lilly Cares Foundation, Inc.
I first applied for help hast December (2022). I heard nothing whatsoever.
Then in May (2023) my social worker and I called to try to find out what was happening.
I then received a text message saying that I was approved.on 5/1. I awaited for a shipment of my Emgality. It did not appear. My social work and I made about 7 more calls between 5/1 and 6/6. Each time there was an excuse for not shipping and a promise to ship. Each time I waited for the Emgality and it didn't come. They promised to send it before the 20th of June, in time for when I usually take my injection but it didn't come. It is obvious that t hey have no intention of sending this prescription to me even though I was qualified. I have given up as 'm sure that's what they wanted me to do but didn't have the decency to tell me they were not going to help mey. I hope to find a higher up person to contact about this run around.

COMPLETE LACK OF COMMUNICATION OR RESULTS
Applied for assistance 11/15 21 and it is now 3/8/22. I received 2 messages that my Dr. did not send the correct form and we sent it in twice in late Nov.. Have not heard from them since. I called three times, the first I spent on hold for 37 minutes, the second 20 minutes on hold and finally spoke to someone. She told me that they needed a hard prescription from my Dr. before even starting my application. She said she would call me the next day and get the app. started and they would text me my on the progress. No calls or texts received so called back in a week and she said they had all the info now and I would hear from them shortly. I have heard nothing. The name "Lilly Cares" is obviously just an advertisement but with little results.

The Lilly Cares program while well-meaning is not serving patients properly The only contact method is via phone 800-545- Callers are told that they can expect a wait in excess of minutesAfter minutes in the phone queue, callers are told to leave a message and then disconnected It typically takes three calls totaling approximately hour and minutes before callers reach a representativeIf callers do leave a message, they are told they will be contacted within hours I have left five messages over the past two weeks with no return call to dateIf you call late in the day and are in the queue, at pm all holding callers are disconnectedWhen I asked to speak with a supervisor, on my last call, I was told none were available The rep would not give any information except his first nameOver the past two weeks, I have spent in excess of eight hours trying to get a refill and an expedited day shipment since my mother ran out of medication a week agoWhile I was assured that the expedited shipment was being process on 1/27/16, 2/2/16, 2/5/16, and 2/9/16, no medication has been sentI have been promised that a shipment will be sent via overnight transportation on 2/9/To further complicate the problem, paperwork sent via fax takes many days/week to be processed into the systemAlso, there is no feedback option for notifying the Lilly Cares leadership teamFinally, since there is no online support (to check account/order status), the only way to check on a promised shipment is to call and again spend over an hour waiting to speak with a rep Lilly needs to develop a medication to fix their dysfunctional Lilly Cares program, then take a mega-dose
