Review: My daughter was seen at this nail salon to have french tip acrylic nails put on. The cost for this is 35.00. The technician began to do a regular manicure when my daughter corrected her and stated she wanted french tips put on not a manicure. At this time the technician began to do what my daughter wanted, however in a rougher than usual manner resulting in a small cut that produced blood below her left thumb nail. when she was done and went to pay, she was charged 50.00 for the service. When she came home and told me this I called the salon to question them. The salon manager stated that she was asked if she wanted gel polish put on the tips and that she agreed to this, resulting in the increased price. My daughter and her grandmother who was with her both state that the manager never asked about a gel upcharge. I asked the manager to refund the price of the gel upcharge since we did not ask for nor agree to have that done. The manager was only willing to refund 5.00 to her which was not acceptable. I asked the manager for the name and phone number for the owner of the salon, however he refused to give me that information. The manager of the salon then proceeded to hang up on me when I pushed for information about the owner so that I could contact him.Desired Settlement: I would like my daughter to be refunded the 15.00 for a service that she did not ask for or agree to have done.
