In 2017, I was ran around in circles by owner of Limelight Management, Inc, Abraham *** and his HR-Admin Priscella *** when I needed to collect my 2016 W-2. Months before I was moved from HR-Admin position to Account Manager, I made sure to update my mailing address was a completed apartment address in Carrollton, TX before the 2016 calendar ended. When it was time to receive my W-2, Abraham sent me on multiple last minute road trips out of state for weeks at a time so I wasn't able to catch my own mail. While coworkers I lived with had already received their 2016 W-2 by late January 2016, I had yet to receive mine by mail. I was bounced around between Priscella and Abraham wait on my mail and wait extra time before I later discovered Priscella hid my W-2 in her desk for some time and released it with a smirk on her face and saw that the address on it was incomplete than what I had plugged in the system. The only other person who knew how to get into the system was Priscella since Abraham didn't frequently use the systems an HR-Admin would use.
Recently I've made a few attempts to Abraham *** since late November 2017 by mail, texts and even sent a certified letter directly to him at his office address and didn't receive any response from him for either attempts to confirm he received my San Antonio, TX house address. It was not until Wednesday 01/31/2018 at 6:15 PM when I received a personal text message from Priscella herself saying "Hi ***, This is Priscella. We received your notice requesting your W2 to be sent to your San Antonio address. As soon as we receive your W2 from our finance department, we will be sure to send it to the correct address. For clarification, please provide the address either via text to this phone number or you may also submit via email to @limelightmanagement.com. Thank you". I've called IRS and told to wait until 2/15. I still haven't received it nor heard back from them, while my former coworkers already received their 2017 W-2 from the company

Desired Outcome

Contact by the Business I want to move forward, but most importantly I want my W-2 for 2017 because I've been running around in another circle by both Priscella and Abraham in Limelight Management, Inc because I need to complete my 2017 taxes. Abraham has claims of Limelight Management, Inc as "President" when in reality he is the owner of this office and received overhead for other people he promotes into their own offices regardless if it is in the Fast Wax division or another division contracted by Smart Circle.

This update is to ensure we have done all we can to assist Ms. in receiving her required document. It has been mailed, as well as sent in text format and additionally it was emailed directly to her. There has been many difficulties in providing the documents due to certain aspects being out of our direct control. It is presumed by the complainant that the actions of our company have been malicious in nature however it was not our intent. There was a significant delay from our finance department, which is not located in our office in Texas, and we submitted information as soon as it was provided. The time line provided by Ms. was not sufficient as we did not receive notice of her W2 until mid February. We mailed out the document the same week it was returned to our office. Once we were made aware that the document still had not been received in early March, we text and emailed the requested document. We also understand the complainant requested to update the address for the document and presumed we were able to do so in the Texas office. Unfortunately we are not able to update certain documents within the systems accessible in the Texas office. Rather a completely different department, which we were advised at the time of the request, could not be completed.

This complaint came to us from a disgruntled ex-employee and have done our best to resolve the issue. We understand there were difficulties in the past as the complainant did partake in numerous company trips. However as it is portrayed that trips were decisions made by the owner,any and all company trips are optional and a privilege. Ms. was not forced to travel. In addition, she wished to receive her W2 in 2017 however it was not brought to our attention that she no longer wished to be employed by Lime Light Management and decided to join a separate office in another state. The W2 in question had been mailed to her address in Texas however Ms. expected it to be mailed at her new location even though she did not advise her current employer she decided to make the company trip a permanent move. We were not made aware if and when she would be returning to the office, therefore we could not have purposely withheld the said document as the complainant claims.
We hope our efforts are sufficient for Ms. and wish her the best on her future endeavors.
