Limited Run Games Reviews (%countItem)

I bought a brand new game from them and it arrived in mail damaged. I tried to get into contact with them right away, but they will just not respond.
I bought a limited print game from them, but when it arrived, the upper right corner of the game case was smashed. It being a limited print game, thus somewhat rare, I expected to get the game in brand new condition because thats the point of collecting things like this; its what their whole business model is based on (Limited Run Games). That was July 8th and the very next day, I attempted to contact them. I got a response the same day, the 9th, and they asked me to send them pictures of the damage, which I sent to them the 10th. Every since then, I have been trying to get ahold of them without success. I have no idea if they got the pictures or if they are planning to make the situation right, or if they are not be helpful. I have no idea. I have been attempting to contact them 3-4 times since, but I continue to not receive a any response. I just feel ignore and unimportant to them. I feel like they don't want to respond to me because they don't think they have to.

Desired Outcome

I want to be acknowledge first off with a replay from them. After that, I either want the brand new, undamaged copy of the game I payed for, or I want a refund. I don't feel any of this is unreasonable.

I ordered a game bundle totalling $384.99 ($437.44 with tax and shipping) on July 26, 2019 with a promised ship date of September. I received the package on February 18, 2020. Almost seven months later. This is unacceptable to be charged full price and have to wait so long for delivery.

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment How about $26.79 in store credit as an interest payment at 12% APR? Or start doing things ethically.

The company promised buyers free game(s) through a loyalty program that they have failed to deliver.
Limited Run Games promised customers loyalty rewards for purchasing games from them on a consistent basis. The program was awful, requiring customers to purchase at least*** 40 games to earn one free one, but it was better than nothing, I suppose. They had other ridiculous regulations, including holding onto and not losing physical tickets--like the tiny ones you get from places like ***. ***--in order to earn the free game.

Over the course of over two years, I have spent over $1,200 dollars on games from this company, only to learn that they recently decided to cancel their rewards program and move to some new digital format that does not account for the incredible amount of money I already spent on products. In other words, they created a loyalty program that they are not honoring, and I find that absolutely ludicrous. The least they can do is take care of the customers who have been loyal to their company and products for years. It's not like I buy a game a year, either. I spent an average of $600 over that time, which is no small sum given the average cost of a game is something around $40.

I do not accept their lame explanation for cancelling the loyalty rewards program without taking care of their customers and demand an appropriate resolution for the matter.

Desired Outcome

I am requesting that *** honor the sale and grant me a free game of my choice, as the program should have done. Since the average game costs about $40, I am requesting enough credit to receive one free Nintendo Switch game of my choice in the future, so long as it is not a Collector's Edition or some other premium item that costs more money. I am not being unreasonable here; I am simply demanding the company honor its promise to its customers and grant me what I earned through my loyalty to the business.

Deceptive business practices.
Issue with product fulfillment.
I have made several attempts to preorder special collectors of games.
The have a pre-order checkout queue, This queue is supposed to guaranty you a spot in line while you pay for you item. Their system never works. After the payment has been entered you are told the the item is out of stock and brings you back to their main website page.
Days later (or sometimes the same day) you can find these collector edition preorders on *** for twice the price. It's hard to say if Limited Run Games places these pre-orders on *** to hike prices up.

They need to fix their preorder system.

Desired Outcome

I just want an explanation by ***. They never answer when you contact them.

Items I had ordered were severely delayed, and my request to cancel said orders were denied.
I had ordered several games from this company. They have been delayed several times. I requested my orders be cancelled, and was told that I could not cancel. The only solution I was offered was to receive the order, pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee.

Desired Outcome

A full refund, and cancellation of all outstanding orders
