It states "The carrier will not pay over $50.00 for any shipment unless a greater value is declared and charges for such greater value is paid."Mr.  [redacted] (Sender) declared a total value of $25.00 for this item.  A Total Value of greater than $50 would have been subject to an additional fee. At the time of shipment, he declared a "$25" value and no amount was paid for additional insurance.  After a shipment is lost, it is not reasonable to expect to be able to change a declared value.Also, this item was sent “collect”, meaning the receiver would pay the shipment fees at the time of receipt, these fees were not paid by Mr. [redacted], who claimed that the box he was receiving was not his.    We would pay Mr. [redacted] (Sender) $25 (the declared value established at the time of shipping) for the loss of his freight shipment.  Mr. [redacted] can contact Adriana A[redacted] at [redacted] to request payment. Thank you,Isela G[redacted]Sr. Project Manager[redacted]
