Under the impression that this was an accredited school, I paid the discounted "tuition fee" of $and enrolled at Lincoln Academy August 28th, Less then days later I completed the "courses" and received a graduation status email on what my next steps were to ordering my diplomaI was told by "*** ***" to log into my account and choose my diploma package, I did soAfter spending $for the graduation package I chose, I also spent a total of $on a Verification of Enrollment AND Verification of Graduation ($for each)I had to send the verification papers to my previous high school so I would not be listed as a high school drop-outThis money I spent as money out of MY pocketNot from my parents, but hard-working money that I had earnedBack in April when I was sitting in the office of the Chattahoochee Administration, I was told that my "diploma" was useless and that their research of this programmed proved that they weren't accreditedThey showed me many cases filed against these scamming people and told me my best bet was to get my GED and come backThis scam has caused me a great deal of stress and has caused me to put my dreams and education on holdWhen I requested a refund from the program, I was contacted once again by the same person "*** ***" and told that I need to send the diploma and other copies I had sent back to the office in Texas along with PROOF that I was denied access to the college or proof that I was enrolled in another high school programI think that is BS and I shouldn't have to send any proof if they know they are scamming people! The website clearly says ACCREDITED and even states that if you are denied enrollment into any college they will refund your money HASSLE-FREEThey have given me nothing except problems with processing my requestThis is wrong and it has put my whole life on holdI'm pissed, as anyone and everyone else would beThey'll have a lawsuit on their hands very soon
