The dentures my insurance paid for are way too big for my mouth. The teeth are slanted out too far. I have gone back to the dentist but the adjustments did not fix the size. The dentures are still too big for my mouth and I cannot talk either with them on. Desired SettlementI would like new dentures with smaller teeth and that are smaller, so that they will fit in my mouth. Business Response After reviewing the patients chart we do not see any complaints by the patient except for 2 sore spots on the mouth that the dentist adjusted on the denture. In the frabrication of the new denture there is a try-in phase in which the patient has the ability to see the size, shape, fit and color of denture before it is processed. This patient approved the try-in as is.We would be happy to see her if she is having any discomfort with the denture.Thank you.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This is the reason we have not gone back to the dentist. As stated above the teeth which slant forward can not be adjusted. I am having difficulty chewing or closing my jaw to eat, because the teeth are too big for my mouth. I would like to send a picture of the dentures to Revdex.com, and want to know how to do it. I did go back a couple of times to get the pink part of the dentures adjusted. This does not resolve my complaint. I have already stated what my daughter and I understood. Final Business Response As stated previously, in the patient record the Dr. wrote that the patient approved the shade, shape, size and bite at the wax try-in phase and gave us the go ahead to process. After that these things can not be changed. The patient would have to pay for a new denture as the Dr. would have to start over.

Lincoln Dental charged my credit card an unauthorized amount for services that weren't provided. My wife made an appointment for me to see a dentist at this location to discuss dental work (bridge, implant, root canals). The appointment was set for June 29th at 9:20am. My wife was never notified that there would be a "limited evaluation" charge for this visit. When I arrived, the dentist was evaluating a tooth that I was not there for, as this tooth I was already treating with antibiotics and pain medication. When I informed her that I was there for an upper right quandrant evaluation, she said, "That will be on the next visit." I was seen by her for maybe 2 minutes. She performed no work, no xrays, nothing. She referred me to an oral surgeon (I ALREADY HAD A REFERRAL FOR THIS TOOTH I WASN'T GOING THERE FOR THIS TOOTH). Upon exiting the evaluation, a man named [redacted] told me I owed them $98 and I stated, "Wow, I have careington are you sure that's correct?" (CAREINGTON is a fee schedule for individuals to help ease the cost of dental work). [redacted] stated, "oh okay well I am looking at careingtons fee schedule and it says $42 and this schedule is old from 2010 so it's surely to cost more now so I will bring the price to $50" Unknowingly, he charged my credit card the wrong amount. When I called my wife, who made the appointment. She informed me that careington has an updated 2013 fee schedule on their website which states a limited evaluation is $18. I had my wife call their office, and [redacted] kept denying that he did wrong. He refused to refund my money, and he even kept saying he's going off of what he has, an old outdated fee schedule. When my wife offered to email him the updated copy straight off of careington's website, he just kept denying that it was possible for this visit to only cost $18.Even after I informed him that he defrauded my wife and I, he refused to refund the $50. Thus why I am filing this complaint. My wife emailed him an updated copy that proves we should only be charged $18, yet, he still refused to give us a refund.I am also letting it be known that I am disputing this charge as Fraud through my bank account today. However, when I informed [redacted] of this, he spoke as if he was still going to charge us $50 regardless of whether my bank refunds us the money. Which leads me to believe that even if I get a refund for $50 from my bank, they will still send a bill over for $50 to my home. Thus, this complaint is also proof that I do not owe $50 as they fraudulently charged my card based off of incorrect information given to me by [redacted].HERE IS THE LINK THAT PROVES THEY OVERCHARGED ME:[redacted]If you click on the 503 series (as that's what Massachusetts is listed under) you will clearly see the charge should be $18.Desired SettlementI wanted $50 that was fraudulently charged to my card RETURNED and REFUNDED.Business' Initial Response This was a case of a misunderstanding on the consumers part, the consumer has been offered a full refund which they are pleased to accept.case should be removed.
