 Complaint: [redacted]
Thank you for
reviewing my complaint and trying to resolve this issue. First of all, per my
complaint to the Revdex.com, the cemetery is maintained poorly.  My grandmother, [redacted] was buried
at this location in November 1997 and I have complained about the cemetery at
least 15 times to present.  I never had
direct contact with [redacted] so she really doesn’t know my exact
concerns. She only reads what is present on the work order request. Over the
years,  I have submitted complains
regarding the cemetery to [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted].
Currently, I worked with [redacted]. [redacted] about my complains and provided her
several photos of poor maintenance of not only my family members’ site but
other gravesites.  This is unacceptable.
Families spend too much money to bury their love ones.Secondly, the
response letter stated I submitted four work order request is incorrect. In the
last year,  I have submitted at least
three work orders to [redacted]. [redacted]. I submitted work order for both [redacted]
Richardson/Joanne Hicks and  Herman
Richardson.  There is no excuse regarding
bad weather because I have submitted complains when the weather was good. You
have to complain about a problem at the cemetery in order for them to provide
better maintenance service in that area.
Some of the gravesites have grass growing over them or broken
markers.  I guess that’s a weather
problem.Lastly, I visit
the cemetery at least 15 times a year and plan to document my visits, take
photos, and request a copy of  all work
order request.  While, I was waiting on a
response from this company through the Revdex.com, I contacted the Office of Cemetery
Oversight, [redacted]. [redacted].  I am
waiting to hear from this office.  It has
been a continue maintenance issue problem at the cemetery for me and I am ready
to see some changes.  Regards,

March 10, 2015Dear [redacted].
We are in receipt of your letter to us dated March 3, 2015, regarding the complaint filed by the above-referenced individual. [redacted], in her complaint, questioned why her mother's memorial had been removed from her gravesite, and upon her request...

to have it put back on the grave site, further questioned the delay in placing it back on the grave site. After our review of the file, we offer the following. The memorial had been temporarily removed to perform an interment in the grave site next to [redacted]'s mother. The cemetery's intention was to immediately place her mother's memorial back on the grave site, but due to harsh weather conditions experienced immediately after the interment, the maintenance crew was forced to wait until the ground unfroze and was in an acceptable condition to reinstall the memorial.
We are pleased to inform you that the memorial has been placed back on [redacted]'s mother's grave, and upon her next visit to the cemetery, we can assure you she will be satisfied.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to you in this matter. If we can be of any further assistance to you in this matter, please let us know.
Sincerely,
Toni F

Review: On a monthly basis, I visit the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery to decorate my family members gravesites. On several occasions, when I visited the cemetery the graves are always dirty with debris all around headstones. Sometimes, I cant unscrew the headstone vase because it is filled with dirt or the work truck road over the marker and its stuck in place. When I try to walk to the gravesites, there are holes in the ground making it difficult to walk. Some of the newly buried graves are filled with uneven dirt. The ground is never level. This cemetery is not maintained properly and I have filed several service orders for repairs. The staff is unprofessional when you inquiry about the condition of the cemetery. In the future, I plan to take photos of the gravesites for proof of the poor condition. This type of service is unacceptable and unfair to family who have lost love ones.Desired Settlement: I want a written explanation as to why I had to endure these kinds of condition on a regular basis. I want a written apology for the heartache this cemetery has caused me. I am already hurt because I have lost my family members then to visit their gravesites and it is not maintained properly. That is unacceptable. I want answers or move my family members to another location in the cemetery that are maintained properly such as right cross from the Business Office.

Review: I GAVE Lincoln Memorial Cemetery representatives ([redacted] and [redacted]) $225 on March 20, 2013, to transfer my gravesite that was, erroneously, place in my sister's name to my name. I was promised a deed ([redacted]) in my name and to date have not received the deed nor my $225. My sister and I have been trying to work with Lincoln, since April 20, 2012, to find out the correct procedures to make sure that all of the beneficiaries were listed on an official document of the gravesites that were purchased when our mother, [redacted] died. We were told my [redacted] that we needed to pay for a transfer of names and the fee amount. My sister and I went half on the fee and nothing was done and the check was returned. Then we spoke with [redacted] who instructed us to complete an Affidavit of Heirs form and the cost was "zero". My sister sent in a detail, itemized, instructional, and notarized letter to Lincoln requesting the Affidavit of Heirs. Nothing materialized or transpired by working with [redacted] and [redacted]. So when the Lincoln representatives came over to my home on March 20,2013, I was told that I would have to do a transfer and it would cost $225 to get my gravesite in my name. Lincoln Memorial Cemetery has been deceptive, fraudulent, and unprofessional and has cheated me out of $225 for a transfer that is not even necessary in this type of situation.Desired Settlement: I want my $225 back and an Affidavit of Heirs form completed under the name of [redacted] with beneficiaries of [redacted], [redacted] ([redacted]'s son because she is deceased), and [redacted]. [redacted] wanted to be cremated so did not purchase a gravesite.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

I received a copy of the deed that looks rather unofficial. I am entitled to an "official" original copy with the "gold" emblem on it. I would not be wasting my time on this matter if I had received my official copy. I have many emails that I sent to [redacted] in relations to me requesting my copy of my gravesite deed. I never received the original nor a copy. Apparently, the deed was made but never given to the customer (me). They need to check the competence of their employees. Once I receive the official copy of my deed, then I will be satisfied and this matter will be closed. Thank you very much!
