Review: Lincoln Skyways missed/did not disclose Major Damage history during a Pre-Buy inspection on my aircraft. 15k loss on resale 2 years latter

I had a pre-buy inspection on may 5th on my Bonanza V tail. The shop either missed or did not disclose to me that the plane's tail had been crushed by a building in the past. I am trying to resell the plane now and it just came up on a pre-buy done at a professional Aircraft Shop. I had to reduce the value of my plane by 15k. After trying to find out what happened, the owner of Lincoln Skyways refuses to even look into what happened. I claims I didn't have a pre-buy inspections. I then produced documentation to show that the pre-buy was done. He is now not willing to look into it any further, basically it is a too bad so sad to me. He claims to have superior customer service but I now have written documentation from him showing that he has no interest in taking care of customers.Desired Settlement: I would like to see the owner admit that they made a mistake and screwed up. If he wishes to compensate with work time on a different aircraft than I will not object.

I would first like to thank you for contacting us regarding the above case.

Lincoln Skyways, Inc. is in the business of aircraft maintenance and restoration.

I have corresponded with [redacted] on January 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 7th regarding his claim.

[redacted] claims we did a Pre-Buy inspection on his airplane. This statement is false. I have attached the

invoice for the work performed. We invoiced [redacted] for an airworthiness inspection, also known as an

"Annual Service and Inspection". I further checked all of our paperwork on this transaction, and all of it

states airworthiness inspection or "Annual Service and Inspection".

During an airworthiness inspection, the airplane is evaluated for items that present a safety or

regulatory issue. We assess any prior repairs and their related documentation to determine the

aircraft's airworthiness. Under our meticulous care and maintenance, [redacted] has successfully flown his

aircraft 2.5 years without incident.

[redacted] has posted this complaint and another review with false information. We are considering legal

action for the slanderous comments that are without basis or fact.
