Lincoln tech is full of people that are trained attack dogs to try a scare tactic to make you agree to ach withdrawls to pay off your debt and well with my and other former students experience before they put a leash on there attack dogs and started recording calls they said ach withdrawl is the only form of payment they will accept to pay off your debt to them. News flash lincoln tech you are not god you do not control how or when people pay there debt as long as its getting paid. With that said lincoln tech is not a school its a place that wants your money even if you shouldn't owe them anything. Lincoln tech talks a big talk but watch out there a for profit "school" they want your money they don't really care if you succeed or fail. As long as there making money there peachy... Just a group opinion of lincoln tech.

Tell us why here...Complainant was first suspended, then terminated from his schoolprogram for violations of the Student Code of Conduct, specifically thosepolicies addressing sexual harassment, inappropriate and unwanted behavior inthe school environment, inappropriate use of...

school’s computer networks todownload and display pornographic, inappropriate and offensive materials, andacting out in an unprofessional manner.  School followed published process and investigation protocols. A disciplinary review committee met to review complaints against student, witness’ statements, the student’s own submitted documents and statements madeduring the course of the investigation, and subsequently in an attempt toappeal the decision.  Upon both reviews, the disciplinary review committeeupheld decision to terminate for student’s violation of sexual harassment, inappropriate use of school’s computer networks, and unprofessional behavior.

I am rejecting this response because:I have never displayed any unprofessional behaviors and have never visited any pornographic websites; Lincoln Tech's accusations are all hersey, they have not substanciated any evidence to back up their claims. The charges were drummed up against me because the externship director could not deal with my nervous stammering during interveiw process. Lincoln Tech should have helped me overcome this instead of taking the direction they took, which I  find offensively discriminatory, since I have been through speech therapy trying to correct my condition.I completed the curriculum with a 3.94 GPA and had perfect attendance, had no problems with school until I get to externship director, who cant handle her duties when it comes to difficult situatins, so this is how the school processed me.Nobody else will here my words, so I, [redacted] turn to Revdex.com and try to save anyone else from having to go this ordeal.

I spoke with [redacted] and asked who the former student was that he was seeking information for.  He informed me that it is his wife, [redacted].   She attended school as [redacted].   I advised [redacted] that his wife would not receive a tax form as she was...

not an enrolled student in 2013 ([redacted]) and the interest she paid on the loan did not meet or exceed $600 [redacted]).   I did offer to send a copy of [redacted] card which would show interest paid in 2013.  He stated he would like this information.  I advised him I would have to send it to the address in our database unless his wife contacts us with a change of address.  He said it was fine to send the information to the address in our database as that is her parent’s address.   The address in the database is the address on the complaint so the information will be sent there.

[redacted] Dear [redacted] The above case was forwarded to me for review and response. Thank you for the opportunity to respond. [redacted], indicates in his complaint that he is being harassed by our representative in our Receivables Department. This statement is false, in fact [redacted]...

has always had a due date of payment on the 3rd of every month. His payments are consistently late by 10 to 15 days every month. Due to the lateness every month, this will automatically prompt a call from our representatives. We have not received a request to change the due date. In response to his accusation of Lincoln divulging 3rd party information, we have no record of speaking to his father, and Lincoln does not charge late fees. [redacted] spoke to our senior representative on June 9th, and made payment arrangements for the months of May and June. At the conclusion of that conversation he was reassured that at any time he can call to speak to Ms. B[redacted] should he have any concerns or questions. In addition, the due date has been adjusted to the 16th of every month since this is the date he stated and most of his payments have been received by the 15th. This should eliminate the need for most collection calls. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Crista A[redacted] Crista A[redacted] Student Relations Manager Lincoln Educational Services [redacted]

Review: [redacted], my son a home school student, was to attend Lincoln Tech on July **, 2013. Almost a year before we attended open house, Ive been to the school on several occasions along with orientation which I paid down payment of $1265.00 on my tuition. Hours before my son was to attend school (July [redacted]) the school called and said he will not be able to attend that school. As of today I still have not received my refund. Its been back and forth with Lincoln Tech. I requested to pick up the but the will not allow me to get it. Please see the email below. I have been instructed to send it via UPS for delivery confirmation. I will provide the tracking number for your records. From: [redacted], [redacted] [mailto:[redacted]] Sent: Wednesday, August **, 2013 4:31 PMTo: [redacted]Subject: RE: FYI Please let me know if I can pick it up Friday at the school. From: [redacted] [mailto:[redacted]] Sent: Wednesday, August **, 2013 4:20 PMTo: [redacted], [redacted]Subject: RE: FYI Good afternoon Ms. [redacted]:The check requests have been processed, and Ive been informed of an updated expected delivery date of Friday .I will give you a call upon their arrival. From: [redacted], [redacted] Sent: Tuesday, August **, 2013 10:53 AMTo: [redacted] ([redacted])Subject: FYI Since I am pressing on time would I be able to pick up the check at the front desk at the school.Desired Settlement: I recieved the checks in my son name and return Federal Express at my cost to reissue the check made payable to me. At first they said he had to sign a release form and I told them he was a minor and they agreed to reissue the checks to me. As of today I still have no checks. I contacted the school several times via email and they keep telling me these checks will be send via UPS. I work and I would like to pick the checks up at the school. The should have been issue when he was dined school.

Response:

Refund checks were issued 8/*/2013 and were mailed to the applicant’s home address. The checks were returned to the school, and reissued with [redacted] as the payee as requested. The new checks were sent via UPS, and UPS completed delivery on Friday, August **, 2013 at 12:14pm. The tracking number for the delivery is [redacted]

Review: I paid and completed the EMT course in [redacted] through Lincoln Tech from April 2013 and graduated in August 2013. I then signed up for the Paramedic Course Class # [redacted] for Paramedic Certification that began on Oct 2013 and was completed in Nov of 2014. I paid a total of $7456.00 for this course/certification. I completed the course and passed the testing. Then the school closed in [redacted]. I have never received my certificate for this course or any paperwork since its completion. I have communicated back and forth with Dr. [redacted] and [redacted], who both promised me that they would research my certificate and get back to me. Neither has returned my most recent calls or have given me any new information. To date I have not received my certification. because of this I have not been able to schedule or take the St[redacted] licensing exam. Since I have not been given my Paramedic certificate after doing all the work, service hours and passing the tests I believe I am entitled to at least the payment of $7456.00 I paid to Lincoln Tech for this course.Desired Settlement: I want either my Paramedic Certification and/or my $7456.00 paid for the course tuition.

Review: I am a Lincoln Tech graduate of 2013, I have loans in repayment over 7000 in loans that I pay through a personal loan with Lincoln Tech. I pay 200 a month towards that loan, I've never missed a payment but I constantly get harassed by Mrs. w[redacted] she constantly calls telling me that I'm late when I'm not. She calls me the day after my suppose due date and now she is calling before my due date. she tells me my payment is due the third when I have letters telling me its due the 16th. I missed one payment in May because I was in the hospital and in the doctor many times. I called in the beginning of June after receiving phone calls twice a day from her for a month, I tried explaining to her that I was unable to make may payment when it was due, due to issues but her response was that she don't care its not her problem we all have issues she refused to take my May payment unless I paid both May and June, I explained that I'm unable to do that that I could call next week to make my June payment but she told me no because I always say that but then take a month to call and make a payment, which is untrue I always make my payment in the month first time I was late. She called my father lying to him saying I have not made my payments and there is a late fee I have to pay, I have a letter saying there are no late fees. I tried to lower my payments but she is unwilling to work with me and there is nobody else to talk to there is no manager no owner nothing just her. I tried explaining to her my issues but right away she gets loud with me giving me an attitude, and there is nobody else to talk to no body in higher position to speak to I need this issue resolved I need a solution for her constant harassment please help me

Review: My daughter attended this school to get a nursing degree. Since graduation she has never received a monthly statement from one of their lenders showing her balance and payments, and has also been told she still owes an additional 1,400.00 which they can not tell her why. I have since spoken with a representative of their lending company and of the school. The rep from the lending company refused to give me her name or an e-mail address, would not let me speak with a supervisor, and just gave me the run around. I then called the school and spoke with [redacted] who explained to me that the lending company was in touch with her, after my conversation with them, and that she had settled the problem and [redacted] would start receiving statements. She also told me there was an accounting error, on their part, for the 1,400.00 and that [redacted] did not owe that money. She also said she would have written documentation available for my daughter to pick up, stating that it was an accounting error and that she didn't owe the money, on September 30, 2013. When my daughter arrived at the school at the time [redacted] scheduled for her, she was informed the documentation was not there and that they were too busy to take care of it until Thursday October 3, 2013. The reason I have become involved in this matter is because my daughter has been requesting this to be handled by the school for several months now. They have hung up on her, and not returned her phone calls. When I finally called last week, I did get the ball rolling and was promised by [redacted] that none of these issues were my daughters fault and that she would have all of the written documents and statements ready for her to pick up today Monday September 30, 2013.Once again, that did not happen. My daughter simply wants statements from the lending group that lent her money to attend school, and the proof that she does not owe the 1,400.00 balance that the accounting department of the school made on her account.Very shady behavior from these people.Desired Settlement: Monthly statements sent from [redacted] Group reflecting monies owed and paid.Written documentation from Lincoln Tech Institute that my daughter does not owe the 1,400.00 accounting mistake made by them.

Response to Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted]

From: [redacted]; concerning [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the above mentioned complaint.

Monday, October 21, 2013, [redacted] met with representatives from our corporate office along with the Executive Director for Lincoln Technical Institute Moorestown campus. [redacted] main concern was how a balance of $1387 has appeared on her account two years after her graduating from the program.

Although, the school did not include this balance in her re-payments at the time of [redacted] graduation, the balance is legitimate and owed to Lincoln. However, upon further review and in good faith it was determined that the $1387 balance would be written off and not charged to [redacted]

The school is satisfied that this issue has been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.

Sincerely,

Executive Director

Lincoln Educational Services

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as [redacted] receives confirmation of this agreement within the next two weeks, via email or [redacted] mail delivery.

No mention was made of the fact that [redacted] was not receiving monthly statements from [redacted] showing the status of her payments.

[redacted] did say that in her meeting she was told she would start receiving statements, showing the progress of the account, beginning in the month of November.

Can this also be confirmed?

Regards,

Review: I am currently enrolled at this school and everything I was promised before signing up hasn't been offered to me. Me and my classmates were promised an extended amount of time on hands on work at the beginning of this course, but now its ten months later and we are just starting hands on work and none of the hardware were working on doesn't work. As it pertains to our A+ certification test, it was never mentioned that it was mandatory to pass this A+ certification test as a requirement of graduation. This was told to us two months ago. Two of my classmates have already taken the test and they failed because we had to rush through the A+ section of our classes. I dont feel confident to take that test because two of the best students in the class failed the test and if we fail the test we have to pay to retake it and most of us dont have the money to take the test again. The first two months of this course we didn't even have an instructor. When we were finally assigned an instructor everything was rushed. My class is on the verge of failing this entire course because this school didn't do its job in preparing us in a future for this field. I almost failed one of my courses because they didn't approve my appeal for absences due to medical reasons which I had authorized doctors notes for, which were faxed to the school. I feel cheated.Desired Settlement: I want my tuition refunded

We value providing our students and staff with a safe and harassment free learning andworking environment. Earning the right for a student to go on externshipis more than GPA and attendance, it also the demonstrated character of theindividual who will be representing the school and contributing value to aprospective employer. As in any organization, there are prescribed policies for proper staff and studentconduct, regardless of position and academic performance. Actions takenby the school in its investigation and final determination were fully withinestablished school guidelines, policies, and protocols; the conclusions reachedin our investigation, and reviewed again upon requested appeal, stand.
