Lincoln Windows

My home was built in 2006 with a mix of Lincoln and another brand windows. In 2012, the first Lincoln window fogged. Since then I have replaced 95% of the glass in the Lincoln windows for thousands of dollars and haven’t had to replace one of the other brand. Same conditions and yet one brand completely failed. Garbage product.

Review: This company produced an inferior product and has not stood behind their product. I own a home with Timeline Windows which was built 9 years ago. To date, 8 of the windows in the house have failed, and have ended up cloudy and foggy. I have never had windows this poorly constructed. The company has been contacted, and does not offer replacement, only sends glass to be installed at my expense. The latest batch of bad windows will cost hundreds of dollars to install.Presently, window companies should not produce windows that cannot even last 10 years. Warranty should include ALL replacement cost.Desired Settlement: Full replacement cost for all bad windows should be included. All I've been told is that the windows they make NOW last longer! That leaves me with 12 more windows that will probably need to be replaced after the 10 year warranty is up this year.

Timeline's warranty regarding seal failures is for ten years from date of manufacture. It provides replacement of glass and does not include any labor for removal or replacement of the product for repair or replacement. Thank you.

We built a house in CT in 1993 using Lincoln double hung and casement windows and Lincoln patio sliders. All of the window seals failed within or shortly after expiration of the 10 year warrantee. I did not appreciate the seal failures prior to the expiration of the warrantee and thought that the windows just needed washing. When I finally grasped the magnitude of the problem, the 10 year warrantee had expired. Lincoln commiserated with me, but provided no financial assistance. I have replaced glass in over 40 windows at my own expense. The product may have improved, but with all the quality choices available why take that chance?

Stay away from Lincoln Window period.
We had them and the glass leaked as well the Sill rotted away.
We switched to Marvin Integrety all fiberglass ultratex maintenance FREE.
