I was quoted a price for a new lawn installation of $The lawn was installed at two different times which was fineThe front and sides were installed in mid MayThe rear was done at the beginning of JuneWhen I talked with co-owner [redacted] *** about the lawn installation I initially told him I wanted the lawn prepared and completed right so I would have a good start to a nice lawnI also requested inches of topsoil so the grass would come in fullWhen the lawn was installed there had to be additional topsoil ordered due to it not being measured correctly or not knowing how much topsoil it would takeThe exact measurements of the lot were sent and given to [redacted] so he could have an accurate gauge of topsoil neededThe lot is a new build and needed to be roto-tilled or power raked before laying topsoil but was not doneA rock hound was used after the topsoil was laid down over weeds/ crabgrass that was not killedThere were some areas in the yard that did not have any

My year old son was seen and evaluated at Lindamood Bell center in MiamiHe underwent a comprehensive hour evaluationWe met with the center director to go over the resultsHe recommended to start the instructionWe asked for weekly meetings and follow ups to make sure progress is gainedWe were told that they would stop the instruction is no progress is seenWe were told each week that he is making progress and continuation of the instruction is recommendedWe stopped at weeksPost instruction testing done at the same center showed regression and loss of 1-year worth of reading skills in some categories with minimal or no improvement in some areasWe spent over 10K and a lot of time with our busy schedule and our son is doing worse?
How can they assure us each and every week that he is making steady progress and then at the end no progress is shown even with their own test

We have a meeting scheduled so that we may hear more from our client, and discuss the complaint.

A check #[redacted] in the amount of $39.55 was written to Ms. A[redacted] on 6/29/16. It was then mailed along with a copy of thw warranty paper work from Lennox on 7/1 16. We were never informed that she never received it. Ms. A[redacted] was charged $198.00 for the repairs done to her unit along with a $70.00...

diagnostic fee. Lennox only reimbersed us for the part which was the $39.55 we had promised her. We will send her a new check within the next 3 days.

Review: In December 2013, we decided to take our son to Lindamood-Bell Learning Center in Monterey, Ca. My son has a diagnosis of Autism and Central Auditory Processing Disorder. The people from LMB assured us that they would be able to improve reading comprehension. They did the initial evaluation and LMB assessor recommended 160 hours. Soon we realized that some of the instructors that were working directly with our son, did not have enough experience to work with a kid with our son's disability.Some of the instructors could not engage him in the learning dynamic. We expressed our concerns to the manager several times during the first weeks. We told her that if the reading comprehension program was not going to be effective and they were not be able to help my son, then we would not continue with it, stop and get our money back. That we were and we are not in the position to spend $16,000.00 for something that was not effective.The manager told us that, it was hard to work for my son, but that they had found the way to engage our son and it was her impression that program was working.We then realized that the instructor with the most experience would be leaving. Leaving my son again with the novice personnel.We brought this issue to the attention of the headquarters. After that, the manager was working with directly with my son but by then, it was almost the end if the 160 hours.After the recommended hours,our son was re tested in the Learning Center. The center has its own battery of test.In paper it looked like my son did a great improvement in all the areas tested, nevertheless, we did not see that improvement in hour home working directly with my son. For this reason we decided to take him to evaluate on May, 2014 with an independent evaluator. The evaluator used two different instruments to evaluate his reading comprehension. We compared this with a previous evaluation before started with LMB. The results did not showed improvement. LMB test misrepresented our son's progress.Desired Settlement: We are requesting full refund of the cost of the 160 hours.
