Review: I am registering this complaint because this company (Technics Auto Service Inc.) had my vehicle from December 8, 2014 to January 14, 2015. The issue is that the Timing Belt was supposed to been replaced on December 6, 2014 for my 2003 [redacted] SUV. In which was improperly installed meantime it has Ceased my Engine and I had broke down on a major highway and had to get it towed to this location on December 8, 2014. They have now replaced the old engine with a new engine and refuse to give me any paperwork on this new engine and what work was done. I spoke with the mechanic who worked on the vehicle and he said he used my old the parts from the old engine to install in this new engine instead of replacing it with new parts. My old engine had 160,000 miles and this new engine supposed to have 80,000 miles. My vehicle in now being repaired at a new Auto Repair Shop getting a tune-up because the Check Engine light is continuously on and I refuse to let this location work on my vehicle any further.Desired Settlement: What I would like to ask for is reimbursement for the expenses I paid for the Tune-Up in which is $400 and the proper paperwork and work order that was for my vehicle. Also, to notify anyone that does business with Technics Auto Service Inc. to beware.
