Review: I had a family emergency , my dad was in the hospital having open [redacted] . On July [redacted] 2014 @ 11:00pm I booked a room for my 3 boys and myself Until July [redacted] 2014 . Which I was charged $120 a night for double beds. First I must say the room they assigned me too Room [redacted] has so much violation which I did take pictures of . Then I heard someone in the hall yelling out a name about 5 minutes later that person comes and knocks on my door. I called and spoke to the [redacted] who was extremely rude yelling at me stating that the person that was knocking on my door had asked the clerk if he could give the room number of the person who owned the vehicle out front which is my vehicle and so the clerk gave him my room number . I felt unsafe with my children . I thought the only person that can get room information would be police officers not someone from the street or like the clerk said a regular . Soon after that happen they had the air conditioner shut off in room and then called the [redacted] which was change of shift and spoke to the individual and he assigned me to another room , Room [redacted] with just one bed . I then asked him If I would be refunded being that I'm not longer in a room with double beds . He then told me to speak to management before I check out on the [redacted] of July 2014. On July [redacted] @ 10:30am I went to check out and asked for management which the girl in the front desk claimed he wasnt there at the time and that I should call the following Monday to speak with him. As I was leaving I saw the maintenance man come down the stairs and told the [redacted] that theres a problem on another room with the air conditioning and her response was "No there is no problem with it they control it with a switch button from the front desk" .. On Monday July [redacted] 2014 I called to speak to management and was told that he's on vacation . I tried again several times every single week after and left my phone number for him to reach me and I got no response. I tried one last time to reach out to him on 9/*/2014 @ 10am and the [redacted] informed me that he was not there and that I am better off filing a complaint because he does not care about anything .Desired Settlement: If not all at least half of my money back

Her complaint is completely false. I'm the [redacted] of the place and I was there when everything she claim happened. The person that she claim knock on her door is her husband brother which he was with them the day before and had another room, that is why he went to knock on her door,we do not give any information to anybody because this is a motel not a hotel, for the change of rooms we do not give money back because she was in the double bed the whole day, we also have sign everywhere where we don't give money back, that is why we let the customer check the room first just in case they want to change their mind, with the AC is true we control everything from the front but why would I turn off her room AC it doesn't make any sense, and is true she called couple of time and wanted to speak to the [redacted] which comes in and out. I try to accommodate her when she came to complaint about the Motel since i'm in charge of the plac e and can't not give money back unless is few hours of the time you check-in but she was very rude and loud to me and only wanted to speak to the [redacted] claiming she wanted her money back as I asked her why didn't she say that the same day she check in, she wanted money back when she was about to check-out, I don't want to sound like I don't care about the matter but there is no violation in any of the rooms and yes maybe is not a 5 star hotel room since is a motel mostly for short-stay guess but they are very decent rooms.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[I was told I would get a refund for the 2nd day I was there because they had to switch me to a single bed room with all my 3 kids. For the record I do not have a husband. I am not married and when I purchased the room I was alone with my children and boyfriend who wanted to make sure I was checked in . The room was under MY name which the person who knocked on my door is not a relative of mine what so ever. I had came 8 hours away(Pennsylvania) due to a family emergency and was at the hospital the whole entire time On July [redacted] and was extremely exhausted and so was my children we had checked in at 11pm that night at no point was I with that person I don't even know. I was told that he pointed out my vehicle and they automatically gave him my room number because [redacted] stated he is a regular there and that is why they thought it was ok to release that information to him . I just want my refund for the one day that I spent in a one bed room . they're price on a double bed is $ 120.00 a night I was there 2 nights the last night I spent was in a one bed room. Its only right. ]
