Actually when I saw the other people reviews and see how many people are same me and up set by Lindora clinic company I feel they are taking advantage of current pandemic situation and collecting money with giving no services !! exaclty like the other customer " I had barely begun the Lindora program when Gov. Newsom issued the Shelter- in -Place Order. I fall into the high risk category for contracting COVID-19 so even though Lindora is still open I informed the staff I would need to stay home for the time being due to medical reasons. The agreement I signed with Lindora states I can request a program hold due to medical reasons. When I contacted Lindora to request this promised hold my request was met with immediate and intense resistance. We went back and forth a bit but the staff was adamant. They would not even consider doing this for me even though my signed agreement clearly states they can. I was so looking forward to doing this program but attitude of the staff at the Camarillo clinic has put me off totally. I'm so upset. I paid for a year but even though I will lose a lot of money I doubt I'll go back. I want my weight loss journey to be fueled by a clinic with a personable and supportive staff. I believe and my advice is avoid the lindora Clinic as much as you can , very greedy and super bad customer services .

I signed and agreed to a year contract where $159 every 14 or 15th day of the month was taken from my account for a year 2/19/20 my year was up. I called their customer service number and they advice for me to walk into the store and cancel my membership. I stop going to my daily meeting back in October 2019 because they change their hours to 7am-4pm monday to friday; it use to be til 6pm. so I was unable to attend and receive services without having to call off of work. On 3/4/20 I went in at 7am (late to work) to cancel they had me sign paperwork and told me that "hopefully" billing will catch it and I wouldn't get charged the monthly fee on 3/14/20. they billed me; I called today to dispute it and they said I was not going to get a refund because I needed 30 days to cancel.

Enrolled in 12 month program. Lindora auto enrolled me into another year without approval. Contacted them by email stating I wanted to cancel immediately and requested previous months be refunded. Got a return email from Lindora stating it would be cancelled.
However, they did not cancel. Charged my credit card for 6 months!!!! Send another email asking them to stop. This email as well as few others were ignored. Filed a charge back with American Express, but can only get 2 months refund. They stole $600 from me.
DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT WITH THIS BUSINESS!

We are in receipt of the complaint Ref *** from ***

Our records indicate that *** signed up for our annual membership on 2/26/2018 and submitted notice of cancellation on 7/15/2019. The term of the Lindora membership is 12 months. Per the contract, the membership then automatically renews into a month to month contract unless cancelled in writing. An extract of the contract signed by *** on 2/26/2018 is included below with relevant sections highlighted:

“The initial term of my Membership is twelve months (the "Initial Term"). Upon expiration of the Initial Term, my Membership will automatically renew each month, on a month-to-month basis, for a full monthly period (each, a Renewal Term"), unless I cancel my Membership in accordance with the below provisions of this paragraph. If I want to cancel my Membership for any period after the Initial Term, I must provide Lindora with written noticeof such cancellation and such cancellation will be effective upon expiration of the first full monthly Renewal Period that starts after the giving by me of such notice . My membership cannot be cancelled during the Initial Term.
To cancel my Membership, I may send Lindora an email at [[email protected]). “

Lindora received notice of cancellation via email on 7/15/2019. Cancellation is effective within 30 days of receipt of the cancellation notice, being the expiration of the first full monthly renewal period. Any payment due under the contract on or before 8/15/2019 would be due and payable in terms of the contract. Our records indicate that *** disputed the July 2019 and August 2019 charges and accordingly, Lindora has not received payment for July or August. The membership is cancelled and no further amounts have been billed since August 2019.

We have no record of receiving a cancellation notice from *** prior to 7/15/2019, however if *** can provide copies of the emails he references in his complaint communicating his intent to cancel prior to July 15, 2019, Lindora will gladly issue a refund for any amounts that should not rightfully have been billed.

Sincerely

Company is doing business illegally. Please read below.

On July 1, 2018, California's revised Automatic Renewal Law (ARL), Cal. Bus. ... The updated California law also requires a seller who provides an automatic offer that

includes a free gift, trial, or promotional pricing to notify consumers about how to cancel the auto-renewal before they are charged.

Company charged my card March, April, May, June, July and August without first providing me the option to cancel.

I signed up for 1 year Monthly payment of $149.99 in September. I spoke to their nurses in December about my medical issues. They put my membership on HOLD. They did not tell me I would have to continue to pay monthly. In January I tried to cancel. In February I sent a letter to cancel and included a Dr. Letter. I sent a request to cancel my membership in February. I also sent a letter from my Dr. that I could not use any Lindora food, products, supplements or injections due to wide spread pain throughout my body since starting on Lindora. I never received any confirmation and now they are saying I owe $745 from January to June. I needed to cancel in January per Doctor's orders. .

Lindora committed fraud by entering into a contract for services at its Irvine location when its representatives had knowledge that Lindora would be moving to another city three weeks later. Lindora representatives failed to disclose this information at the time it entered into the agreement with us, which was for services at the Irvine location. Lindora failed to provide adequate notice of the move and the option to terminate the contract due to its material breach.

Lindora materially breached the contract by moving its location to another city during the pendency of the contract. When we notified Lindora that we would be terminating the contract due to its breach, Lindora ignored our communication and continued to attempt to charge us on several occasions, while rendering no services of any value.

Despite our cancelling the card on file to prevent future charges, on January 16, 2019, staff at Lindora made unauthorized charges using a credit card number that had previously been used to purchase food (and never for membership charges) without our permission. In the state of California, this was in violation of Penal Code sections 484a [Petty Theft] and 484g [Fraudulent Use of an Access Card] and could be prosecuted by Orange County District Attorney.

On November 25, 2018, I emailed Lindora requesting to be released on the final months of my contract due to a change my work schedule. Operating hours at the clinic or 7 AM to 6 PM which are now the hours I work as an operations director for an urgent care center. My centers going to an opposition and I work 11 to 12 hours a day. I’ve been A Facebook client of Lindor and have been very successful in the program. I received a response back from Michelle stating I have to contact the specifics Center directly and make the request with the center manager. I called the center and asked to speak with a manager and spoke with Terry. I explain the situation and she said she would have had to speak with her regional manager. Terry stated “I probably know what her answer is going to be for I will ask anyway“ can you called me back two days later on November 29 stating I had to come by the center and fill out a form. Explain to Terry that I can’t come by during my work hours and responsibilities which is the entire issue. I asked if she could fax or email the form to me, but she stated they did not have the capability but she can mail it to me. Terry confirm my address and said I would go out the next day. On December 4 I emailed Michelle again at Lindora corporate express and refrigeration that I had received the form and it made no sense for all the calls and emails for simple request that just needed a yes or no answer. It truly felt they were dragging their feet so they can charge me the next month amount of $99. As of the date of his filing, December 11, I still have not received the letter nor a response from Corporate after explained I’ve not received the letter or an answer.

I never got the required "right to cancel" and I wish to cancel the membership with Lindora.

I bought 20 Lipo injections on 11/22/17 because they had a sale. I wanted to start using them as of January 2018 when I started my third 10-week program with them. They did a blood test on me and said they cannot give me the shots based on the blood test results. I went somewhere else and did the same blood test and was told it is absoultely safe to get the shots. I told this to Lindora and they told me to meet with their doctor to get the approval. Their doctor approved it. But by the time all this happened, it was already mid February. I calculated that I then will not have enough time to use these 20 shots because I already had another 20 shots I had to finish using by the end of my program.

In Feburary I asked *** for a full refund of $350 for the 20 Lipo injections I bought on 11/22/17. She said that it is absolutely possible to get a refund and that I have a full year to get a full refund and convinced me to wait. I insisted and she assured me SEVERAL TIMES, that I can get a full refun any time I want.

I filed a request for refund with them yesterday. Today she tells me on the phone they have had a policy change since 3/27 and now they don't give refunds but store credit! This is NOT the contract I signed with them in 2017 and not what she told me in February 2018.

They jack up their prices without any notices, they give different prices to different people (I found out this through a friend), and they tell you you have year to get a refund on anything you buy, and convince you to wait and not get a refund on products and services. Then when you do ask for a refund, they say, oh our company had a policy change and we no longer give refunds but store credit instead! *** in this Lindora did this to me. And when I confronted her about how I wanted a refund TWO MONTHS before the supposedly policy change, and SHE was the one who convinced me to wait, she had nothing to say, but to keep repeating how the company had a policy change recently. I WANT MY FULL REFUND OF $350 IMMEDIATELY.

Lindora clinic has reviewed the complaint ID # ***, provided to us from your office. the details as specified on the patient's account file.
The patient initially requested a refund of her 20 Lipo injections on April 12, 2018. The clinic staff member provided the patient with a refund request form to complete and return. The patient completed the form while at the clinic. The paperwork was then submitted to our customer support team and the refund was processed on April 16, 2018 in the amount of $386.40.
We believed the patient's request was handled in a polite, reasonable and efficient manner. We consider both partners to be satisfied with the outcome.
Sincerely,
Dr. ***
