I have talked to Ms*** about her recent visit to our shopDuring that visit we informed Ms*** the vehicle needed a batteryMs*** declined the repair during the visitThe service power steering light was coming and she said she had to have the car jumped at times because it would not
startI told Ms*** the vehicle she was driving had electronic steering which if the battery was bad could also turn this light onMs*** said she would buy a battery and have her father install it and let me know if this fixed the problemFor the most part every time before we could not duplicate the problem therefore we did not know what to repairIt would not be good for the customer or this shop to just throw parts at the problemDon't know if we fixed it or not since we could not duplicate itI think Ms*** was satisfied with the answers I gave her and I am waiting on a call back from her to see if the battery fixed her concern or notI under stand Ms*** also just had a baby and if she gets to read this note I would like to congratulate her and hope all is going well with her and the new little oneThanks

I have reviewed the concerns stated by the consumer and reviewed all the deal documents to find that all agreed upon terms of the purchase have been fulfilled, including the agreement to install new rear brakes, oil change, and address the
steering concernThe dealership provided a new set of tires to the client as part of the addressing the repair, as the tire tread as purchased was not producing a smooth feel and rideThe dealership spent $to address the concerns noted and the buyer left very happy with the carPlease note the buyer purchased the car after a lengthy test drive on an "as is" basis, noting only the concerns we have addressed and correctedThe buyer also declined to purchase the extended service contract they were offered and signed our declination of services form, clearly rejecting the addition of a service contract that may have addressed some of the buyers concerns now statedThe buyer has received both the title and the funds earmarked in the purchase as stated, which would be available as soon as the finance company funded the purchaseThe buyer was called and a voicemail was left on March at the phone number given to us by the buyer and a second call was placed on March 22, after which the buyer did come to the store and pick up the check and titleThe buyer signed the acceptance document and it is dated as suchWe have all the signed documentation and will be happy to provide suchThe buyer was given ample opportunity to test drive and inspect the vehicleThe buyer's concerns were addressed and satisfied with more than originally asked for, and the offering of longer term protection was offered and deniedUpon reviewing I find that we have upheld our promises and dealt in good faith

The individual who filed this complaint came in to Lindsay Chevrolet Used Car Dept in July inquiring about purchasing a...

pre-owned Chevy Cruze. Our Finance Director, Stan [redacted] obtained her credit application and proceeded with submitting it to lenders. None of our lenders, including [redacted] would approve her for the requested amount. The complainant then visited Lindsay Ford in September inquiring about purchasing a new Ford Focus. Alex [redacted] took her credit application information and told her that we would see if we could get her qualified for 0% for 72 months. Shelby [redacted] submitted her application to [redacted] and received a decline. The complainant then visited to Lindsay Chevrolet and spoke with Dennis [redacted] about a pre-owned Chevy Cruze. She told Mr. [redacted] that she was pre-approved at [redacted] Dennis informed her that we are an in-direct agent for [redacted] and that we needed to obtain an approval specifically on the vehicle she was looking at, per [redacted] requirements. She provided a credit application to Dennis so that we could proceed with the approval process. Shelby [redacted] submitted the credit application to see what we could offer her for financing options. Shelby was unsuccessful at obtaining a full approval for her through [redacted] Other lenders also either declined the application completely, or conditioned her application for a lesser amount than was applied for.

Per [redacted] at [redacted] all they needed to send was a buyers order to them and they would approve or deny the vehicle. My credit did not need to be ran again. I want the inquiries removed.

I am attaching another explanation of what occurred during Ms. [redacted] visit to our store. You can see that she had signed one of the credit apps and also signed the credit report when it was received back from the credit bureau. All other documents I think are self explanatory. Thank you.

First of all....those are from July except for 1 of them. and yes I filled the form out because Dennis [redacted] said I had to fill the form so they could call [redacted] to find the pre approval. I asked him if my credit was going to be ran and he said no because I had preapproval. they just needed that information so they could contact the bank. I went in july thinking about trading. this complaint has NOTHING to do with my July visit. The sept 11 visit is the visit I am complaining about. Yes the ford side ran my credit because they tried to get me better financing. I DID NOT authorize the chevy side to run my credit and I was told that they WOULD NOT run my credit. I WANT THE INQUIRIES REMOVED FROM MY CREDIT AND MY CO SIGNERS CREDIT!!
