[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:i picked my my car up yesterday at 4:30pm et after Lindsay Volkswagen said they fixed an evap valve I drove the carto the grocery store on the way home and then got in the car at 11:pm eat the very same day (Friday, October 14,2016) and the malfunction engine light is lit on the dashboard again I have a photo with the repair date and car details, a [redacted] 's receipt showing the current date and time with the malfunction engine light on the dashboard display behind with car mileage showing I really think there is something wrong with this car that they had evidence of when they leased it to me with a trade in of my vehicle But whatever they did to make the light go away to get me to get this car ..."the only one they could make a deal on" for me was never reported to their headquarters as they are required to do on cars of low mileage (then miles) I want a replacement lease caras a resolution The dealer can give me the exact same model I'm not looking for any benefits, just treatment I should have received with the trade in of my [redacted] of 49k miles, which is a new car that I could buy at lease end as that was my every expressed want to the sales manager and finance manager when I was told that the light was on at purchase for gas cap I would not buy this car at the end of the lease now I want a replacement vehicle to lease that is new and without issue.Regards, [redacted]

Response to [redacted] ( [redacted] ) complaint.Customer shopped with Lindsay VW for almost years under multiple different identities.Customer came in 4/26/asking us to match a sales quote from one VW dealer and a trade value offer from a different [redacted] Dealer (we ultimately did both), customer drove multiple vehicles and finally selected the Midnight Blue ***, customer was offered the option of a different color (not in stock) at an increased investment but declined Customer asked employees and other passersby their opinions of his choice of the Midnight Blue, customer decided on Midnight Blue and completed his transaction, customer signed a buyers order that lists the color as “NIGHT BLUE”, customer went through a full delivery in our illuminated service drive and drove home in his new Midnight Blue *** He was at the store for 5-hours during THIS visit There is no chance this customer was under the impression he was buying anything other than a Midnight Blue ***.My team and I are very disappointed in how this situation has turned out We've invested a lot of time and energy to take care of this individual, which all appears to be a waste.Thank you,Jerry H [redacted] General Manager | Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles [redacted] Court | Sterling, VA 20166###-###-#### Direct | [redacted]

This was the previous response I've sent to [redacted] after he posted a negative review online on 1/19/ Customer never responded to me:Thank you for being a loyal customer of ours I was shocked and disappointed to see your review As you may recall, you purchased your [redacted] from Lindsay under the “World Auto Volkswagen Certified Pre Owned Program”, one of the best CPO programs in the industry Under the program Volkswagen requires that the eligible vehicle have a clean [redacted] history, which at the time of our inspection and your purchase, this car did It appears that, unbeknownst to any of us, this vehicle now shows an accident dated 10/5/that was reported by [redacted] on 8/11/ To be clear, this is months AFTER you purchased your *** Please feel free to contact me directly if I can assist you further with this Jerry H [redacted] , General Manager, [redacted] , [redacted] @lindsayvw.com
