Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
My dog *** is a northern dog and she has a double coat. Any experienced groomer should know when these dogs are molting their coats must be thoroughly brushed out to remove all dead hair prior to washingFailure to do so will result in irreparably matted hair. Therefore due to the nature of my dog’s hair, I take great care in brushing my dog’s hair daily as thoroughly as possible to maintain her beautiful coat.
Prior to taking my dog to the groomers I searched online for an experienced local groomer. I found ***’s Groom Room on *** which showed positive reviews averaging stars (After this experience, I went back to *** and found below the positive reviews a link to other reviews. I found other reviews, of which were very negative and could not have been taken into account in the very misleading headline star average review score. Live and learn.)
Satisfied with my initial review of the ***’s Groom Room, I took my dog in and told the ***, *** *** that my dog was molting and she would need her undercoat brushed out, bathed and nails trimmed. Given my instructions and my understanding of her experience, I trusted she would be able to groom my dog properly. However, two hours later, my dog’s beautiful coat was matted beyond repair as it was clear that *** did not understand how to groom a Northern dog with a double coat or follow my instructions. *** failed to brush out my dog’s coat prior to washing, a serious and grossly negligent error on her part. My dog had been at the groomers for two hours when I received a call from the groomers who informed me they needed to shave my dog as her hair had matted all over her body. Alarmed by the call, I instructed them not to do anything and I would come right down to the store
Upon arrival *** said that the *** and shampoo mixture caused a reaction and matted all of my dog’s hair She said that the same thing happen to a Husky she groomed a few months priorShe believed there was a bad batch of *** To verify, I immediately called my Veterinarian’s office who verified that that ***’s excuse was false. *** started screaming and yelling at me and my Veterinarian (who could clearly hear her belligerent language through the phone) in protest and became very hostile and confrontational when I repeated the Veterinarian’s response to her excuse and questioned her about her methods of grooming my dog
After I saw that there was no way to undo the deep and thorough matting they caused, I had no choice but agree to have her shave my dog’s once beautiful coat. This was a difficult decision because a Northern dog’s double coats should never be shaved due to the fact that their outer guard hair protects them from UV rays and when cut may never grow back After shaving ***, *** had the audacity to ask me to pay the outrageous sum of $280. I initially refused to pay and asked her to call the police because it was through her gross negligence that my dog’s beautiful fur was shaven to her skin. *** became extremely hostile and started acting erratically At this point she changed her story and said that my dog came in all matted as she knew her previous excuse blaming a bad batch of *** was false. ***’s behavior and screaming was very frightening and upsetting to me and my dog I feared that the situation would escalate and didn’t want an armed police officer to arrive at the scene and mistake the situation and possibly harm my frightened and upset dog. To defuse the situation, I agreed to pay *** half of the $charge. *** accepted half and I left with my dog.
*** *** told me she knew how to do her job and she knew how to groom dogs with double coats Clearly she does not. Well for the sake of any other double coated dog who you may groom in the future, *** needs to learn how to do her job The following websites set out how to groom a dog properly:
Grooming references:
***
“Always brush out a dog before bathing to help prevent the formation of mats.”
***
“During major shedding, it's best if you take the time to thoroughly comb and brush the dead hair out BEFORE bathing otherwise it will mat.”
Conclusions:
1. *** ***, you have falsely and fraudulently stated that you know how to groom double coated Northern dogs causing me to mistakenly entrust you with my dog’s welfare You have ruined my pure bred $Native American Indian Dog’s coat and have put her life at risk of developing *** *** as her outer guard hair which protects her from UV rays had to be shaven
2. You have lied about the cause of the matting to my dog’s fur. Falsely blaming “a bad batch of ***” which my Veterinarian confirmed was false
3. Then you proceeded to maliciously and falsely accused me of being grossly negligent stating that I brought my dog in with matted hair and asked you to hurt my dog. This is completely slanderous which punishable by law If my dog had come in matted as you have stated, and experienced groomer would have known not to bathe her until all of the matting is removed. However, my dog was clearly shampooed and still damp when I returned to the shop after two hours. This can only prove two things: 1) Your accusation that my dog was matted prior to grooming was a complete lie; and 2) You lied about your experience and knowledge in grooming double coated dogs.
Based on your gross negligence, damage to my dog and slanderous and belligerent behavior, at the very least I am entitled to a full refund, a retraction of your malicious and slanderous statement posted to the Revdex.com on 7/**/and a public apology

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[The extent of lies from ***’s Groom Room ***, *** *** is astounding
I did not throw my money at her employeeI paid by credit cardAttached is a copy of that receipt
I did not threaten her employee, nor did I yell or have any conversation with another clientI would ask that *** *** produce the name and contact information to the Revdex.com of said employee and client
Finally as to her donation of $in ***’s name to animal rescue, I would ask that she produce proof of this donation with the dollar amount and date.]
