Hello,This response is in regard to BBB complaint # [redacted] .Line2 offers our customers multiple options for cancelling an account. Self-cancellation, the preferred method, is done by visiting the Line2 Dashboard ( [redacted] ). Additionally, a customer may submit a cancellation request... by emailing our support team ( [redacted] ). We have designed our Knowledge Base to make it easy to find cancellation instructions simply by searching the web for "Cancel Line2" (and other similar phrasing).After reviewing our records, we have been unable to locate a request to cancel the referenced account by either of the above methods. The last communication received from complainant was in 2013 regarding cancelling their fax addon service.As we have not received a cancellation request, Line2 continues to charge complainant for reservation of the telephone number, and the convenience of making and receiving calls using that number. In addition, the account is not inactive, having received five inbound calls in the last 90 days and, per the customer's requested configuration, forwarded to an outside telephone number of [redacted] .Per request as indicated by the filing of this complaint, we have closed the referenced account. No further charges will be made to complainant's credit card, and we have processed a refund of the $14.95 charged for service from 09 June - 08 July 2017.Best, [redacted] OperationsLine2, Inc

As previously stated, Linereceived no request for cancellation prior to the filing of Revdex.com Complaint *** on June While complainant has claimed such a request was filed in January, no proof has been submittedWe cannot corroborate this claim
The account has already been closedApplicable refunds have already been providedIn addition, we are authorizing refunds for the charges dated May and April, at $each
Should complainant wish to request further amounts to be refunded, Linewould need to be able to identify mishandling of a received requestPlease submit any available proof to [email protected], and Linewill quickly investigate and correct any outstanding issues, up to and including reimbursement for all charges after the date of notification

Customer requested cancellation in Ticket #XXXXXX, Linecustomer support representative responded with the standard "here is how to cancel your account"Customer did not respond or cancel the account, which is why he continued to be
billed
Note that the request came from email address ***@denceservices.com, but the email address on the account is ***@dencoservices.comThe password *** requests would not have been received due to the typo
We searched the account in the database, manually canceled it, and refunded the 10/payment of $on 11/2/
