On 4/25/I went to the dental office and had a comprehensive eval done and at the end of the visit I spoke with people who printed off an active treatment plan with a quote on the dollar amount insurance would pick up a write off discount and what I would have to payI scheduled my next appointment for 5/16/for the first of parts which was to have a core buildup (prior to getting a crown) and to have surfaces fillings filledOn the treatment plan estimate form I received it stated I would owe $minus the $deductible for the core buildupI went to this appointment and on 5/19/I received an explanation of benefits from my insurance company stating that none of this was going to be coveredI contacted the dental office on multiple occasions to resolve this issue including sending a letter of appeal to the billing departmentI never received anything back in regards to the appeal and the office manager who I was dealing with at the office said they could n

Again, all treatment was consented to by [redacted].  We have no control over what the insurance companies pay, we only give our best ESTIMATE.  [redacted] signed the Financial Agreement from our office and also offered him a 25% discount in August to have paid in full by October 1st.  We will extend this 25% discount which will give him $113.50 off his total amount due leaving a balance of $341.34 if paid by October 15th, 2017.If they are still unhappy with these results they should ultimately contact his insurance to discuss with them and do an appeal.  [redacted]'s girlfriend also suggested we change the code on his treatment so insurance covers this, but that is Insurance Fraud and a Federal Offense.  We gave [redacted] his options on his treatment and made his choice of which way he wanted to go.I have attached the emails that have gone back and forth with myself, Karen and [redacted]'s girlfriend, [redacted].  As you can see I gave them the 25% discount after she had 1st asked for a discount and also suggested to them to do an appeal with his insurance company.

I am rejecting this response because:
When my girlfriend called the insurance company she was told that dental offices have multiple codes for the same procedures and that maybe you could try one of the other codes for the same procedure that was done. Is this possible? Has this been brought to the attention of Dr Ling or could you please ask him about the situation.Would you accept an offer of giving me the discounts listed on the original estimate totaling $134.60 plus an additional 15% off for a total of me owing $275
