Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me What good is it to have an option to unsubscribe and I still received e-mails??? I have unsubscribed from numerous e-mails and I did not get any more from them at all Why is this not the same with Linkedin?? If this is the case, there should be another option to go to and close out the account (Common sense) Sincerely, [redacted]

Dear ***, I apologize for this inconvenienceThe reason you are receiving emails from LinkedIn is because you still have a LinkedIn account My records show that your current account is associated with the email address you are writing me from ***@***.bizThis account was
created on July 13, I went ahead and closed this account immediately, but it can take up to hours for your name to be removed from LinkedInAs for search engines (like ***), it may take a little longer for them to stop displaying your public profile, but it will eventually disappear from their resultsUnfortunately, we don't have much control over their results, but you're able to contact them directly if this becomes an issue. I've also added your email address to our "do not contact" listThat means you'll no longer receive messages from LinkedIn or our members at that addressLater, if you change your mind, just let us know. Regards, *** ***LinkedIn

Dear Linda,  I'm so sorry about the situation you've encountered and want to help you access your LinkedIn account as soon as possible.  A temporary restriction was placed on your account after seeing indications of the account being compromised. The restriction was placed to...

prevent any activity on the account. I want to help you gain access to your account as quickly as possible. Due to the nature of this issue, LinkedIn must verify that you are the original owner of the account. Contact us (https://help-internal.linkedin.com/app/ask/path/TS-RHA) if you can't access your account with your usual login information. We will verify your ownership of the account to help you regain access.  Regards,  Aimee [redacted]LinkedIn

Dear DuLance,   I'm so sorry you've encountered this situation and would like to help you access LinkedIn as soon as possible.   If you're able to access your account using a browser that you've already authorized, you'll be able to turn off two-step verification. I'd recommend following...

these steps using a desktop computer.   1. Click the Me icon at top of your LinkedIn homepage. 2. Click Privacy & Settings. 3. Select the Privacy tab at the top of the page. 4. Under the Security section, click Change next to Two-step verification. 5. Click Turn off. 6. Click Done.   If you're not able to access your account at all or no longer have access to the registered phone number and you would like us to disable two-step verification, we'll need to verify your identity. To do this, we use a technology that scans your government-issued ID so that we can help get you back into your account as quickly and securely as possible.   To get started you'll need: • A smartphone or computer with a webcam. • Your driver's license, state-issued ID card, or passport. • An email address where we can reach you. • Access to a desktop computer.   Please follow the steps below on desktop:   1. Once you begin the identity verification process, you'll be asked to take a photo of your ID with a smartphone or webcam. 2. Click the link and follow the onscreen instructions below to begin verifying your identity: https://www.linkedin.com/uas/request-password-reset 3. Enter the email address associated with your LinkedIn account, so we can locate your account. 4. On the following page, click I don't have access to my email address. First, we'll ask you for a new email address. Next, we'll ask you to provide a valid passport or government ID. Once you're finished, we'll process your information.   You'll receive a confirmation from our Safety Operations department after they've reviewed your information.   Note: Member privacy is a top priority and any identification you provide will be deleted once you've successfully regained access to your account. Regards, Aimee [redacted]LinkedIn

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: when I follow your directions out send a reset code to the phone. Umber I no longer have. Seriously this company is no help what so ever. Give me a solution that will fix my issue. I can submit my ID unless I can receive the code you are sending to me. The code need to go to a number I currently have, not one that I no longer have. That the issue.
Sincerely,
Dulance [redacted]
