[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: He is being totally untruthful as usual The guy presented the car as being done ready for pickup When I saw that it still had the same dimples in the paint that he was supposed to have fixed I told him that he had not accomplished a [redacted] thing in days That was the extent of any obscene language or disorderly conduct He then told my wife and I to leave the shop and that he would give us a FULL refund the next day He lied! The next day he said he would only give us a 35% refund or we could take him to court I took the 50% only because it was better than nothing He should have been a man of his word and given back the whole amount as promised He never offered to fix the problem as stated in his response That is another of his lies He admits in his response however, that he had problems with his compressor which caused problems with the clear coat and the customers issue was unable to be resolved He admits he screwed up my car I took my car to another painter who pointed out that in addition to the dimples there where bubbles in the paint itself that could not be fixed The only remedy is to completely sand the hood and repaint the whole thing at a cost of $1, I have not had the time or money to have it done yet but will have to as soon as I can I will continue to tell everyone that I can to stay away from this guy unless he becomes a man of his word Regards, [redacted]

We regret that this customer continues to say they are dissatisfied with the quality of our service and wants a full refundWe wish to confirm that we have previously looked into this complaint, discussed these issues with the customer and agreed on the following outcome and resolution on May 22, 2014: On May 21st the customer and his wife came into the shop being very disorderly and using obscene language toward the owner, demanding their car back although the shop owner was not finished with it; at this time they were asked to leave the shopThe following day, by telephone, both parties agreed to a refund of half the money back to the customer would be fair to the customer and the shopAfter speaking with his attorney, the customer agreed to this resolutionOn May 22nd, the customer came to the shop and picked up a check for $and both parties signed an invoice stating that they agreed to half money refund and all would be resolved between both parties The owner asked the customer for the opportunity to allow the shop to correct the problemThe shop owner spent many labor hours and supplies in efforts to correct the issue to the best of his abilityUnbeknownst to the shop owner, the main compressor of the shop was having technical problems, and over the next week after this incident the compressor machine totally shut down and the building owner refused to fix itThis is the reason the shop owner kept having the problem with the clear coat and the customer’s issue was unable to be completely resolvedThis is also the reason why the shop owner was forced to relocate his businessLino’s Street Customs was recently opened at this location in April 2014, however, the shop owner has over years experience and is certified in this field of expertise We would also like to note that this customer has won several trophies at many different car shows with the custom work performed on his vehicle at Lino’s Street CustomsWe were also participants in a few of these shows and the vehicle also received many compliments from other participants and by-standersIn the more recent car shows that we have not attended, we continue to hear this customer continues win trophies at each one that he attends This complaint had already been settled between Lino’s Street Customs and this customer before this complaint was filed Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns with usWe view all complaints as an opportunity to improve the services we deliver and appreciate your assistance in the ongoing improvement of the care we providePlease let me know if there is anything else you would like to discuss with me

I am rejecting this response because:
