The customer installed her own window regulatorShe then came into our shop wanting free information on how she could fix what was still wrongWe explained to her what we thought was wrong and she said that she could fix the problem herselfI explained to her that if this was not done correctly
that the window would not workAs expected, she returned and wanted us to correct what she herself did to the vehicleMy technician explained that she had glued the bottom track on the wrong place and that we would have to remove the track and re-install it in the correct positionHe also told her that there was a possibility that the glass could break during the removal processOne of my other technicians was a witness to this as well. He also explained that the new window regulator that she had installed was bent because she had glued the track in the wrong place and would not work properly, but that he would try to straighten itUnfortunately the glass did break and she wanted me to replace it at my expenseShe was told from the beginning that this was not a simple repair and that it was going to cost her more money to attempt this repair herself and then pay us to repair the problemShe created this whole problem and does not want to take responsibility for it.From the beginning she was told this was something that she did not need to attempt but she felt that she had the knowledge ability to perform the repairLinton Glass owner and technicians went above and beyond to explain this to difficult repair, but insisted that she was capable
