Purchased a used 2012 GMC Acadia, Dec. 2013. Inquired about the car fax report and was told yes they had the report and was told by our salesman that the car had a scratch on the vehicle but that their service department took care of the scratch. However, after the deal had been finalized, and we still had not received the car fax report we requested that the report be emailed to us. Upon receiving the report, the report clearly showed that the vehicle had been involved in an accident. Complained to the Manager and requested they buy back the vehicle. They agreed to do this at an out of pocket loss to us in over $3,000. We thought we were dealing with an honest dealership and took our salesman at his word. Had we seen the report prior to finalizing the deal, we would not have bought the vehicle even though it was a certified pre-owned vehicle.
