Review: Linux Legal Services is attempting to collect on a debt that is not mine. I have advised them on numerous occasions that I am a victim of identity t[redacted]t. I have provided them with all the necessary paperwork regarding case number [redacted] including the policy report, FTC report, IRS tax fraud report, etc. to fax number [redacted]. This is the fax number on their website and the fax number that Mr. Paul C[redacted] provided me. I have not only received a fax confirmation of my fax request along with the cease and desist letter, but I have also spoken with Mr. Kowoloski/Polowski advising me that he has received the paperwork. I have spoken with Mr. Paul C[redacted], Melissa, and Mr. Kowoloski/Polowski. I have faxed over twice, as per their request, all the necessary paperwork including a cover page to no longer contact me, my family, friends, my work, or any other phone numbers Linux Legal Services may have in regards to the debt as per the guidelines of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C., section 805. I have also emailed them the paperwork to [redacted].org. Yet, I am still receiving calls from this company. I am requesting that they stop harassing and that they stop call me or any other phone number(s) or people that they may have on their profile regarding me.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that they no longer contact me or anyone related to me. I am also requesting that they do not resell this debt to another collection agency.
