In regards to the complaint filed, I have attached the correspondence sent to *** *** of *** *** *** Although they say that a certified letter was sent and there was no response, I never received any further correspondence
from them after sending this letterI would be more than happy to provide a copy of our lease agreement and all correspondence that I have actually received from themThis includes a laundry list of meeting notes in which they continually made unreasonable demands and complaintsWe complied to all of these demands at the risk of having shut down our preschool at the expense of our families and teachersWe had no choice but to comply with their demands until we were able to locate another space in which to operate
*** *** is also not including that in addition to receiving rent from Peapod for the year, they also got their building rezoned at our cost, upgraded to fire code including a new security/fire system that they "chose to retain" rather than allow us to remove *** in addition to the other improvements that we made to their space including the new doors cited in this letter, which they were offered to keep or be refunded the cost of if we were allowed to remove themTheir building improvements totaled over *** at Peapod's cost
*** *** required us to move ALL of our preschool furniture and equipment each Friday and we had to move everything back on Sundays after their services- something that was never discussed in our negotiations for leasing the spaceOur agreements in negotiation were that they were going to need space to set up folding tables each week for adult bible studyIn total this cost Peapod an additional *** for the year and countless hours of lost instructional timePeapod has been more than generous and accommodating in this matter by not pursuing litigation in small claims court, however if this harassment and defamation of character continues we will be pursuing that
