I am the finance manager who? assisted in? the paperwork for [redacted] He was explained by myself? that a $deposit was required in order to hold the vehicle while he waited for approval from his credit union to complete the purchaseAt no time did we? refuse to refund Mr [redacted] his $deposit.? I have communicated with Mr [redacted] via email on on 5/8/in response to this matterHe provided his debit card number and I processed the refund of $on 5/8/He has been notified via email that this refund has been processed.? If needed, I can provide an attachment of the referenced correspondence between myself and Mr [redacted] that shows this matter was resolved.? Sincerely,? In response to the complaint of not receiving the title:? We had the title when the customer showed interest in purchasing, it had just came in on trade.? In attempt to have title put in transfer it was realized that the previous client had marked and signed the title as exceeded actual mileage which isn't the case.? We then had to ship the title for correction to the DMV of Columbus, they have been working on this ever since.? We have faxed everything they ask for and we constantly get told that it will be signed off on by a supervisor and be in the mail today or tomorrow even Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.? The Name who we have been working with at the DMV is? "***", I have spoke with her this week and was told today or tomorrow again.? She has stated that all she needs is to have her supervisor sign off and she can get it in the mail????? We have been in contact with the Bank which is [redacted] ***? and they have been aware of the problem we are having with our State DMV.? The phone # to [redacted] at the DMV is? ? [redacted] I do know that corrections on titles at auto auctions can be sent and returned in a couple days so I'm at a loss on why this has taken this long at a State Agency.? We would like to think that we would have the title by week end but I am having doubts.? [redacted] ***? has funded the deal and we have been in contact.? The customer also have been making payments on time and have been driving the vehicle.? We feel that the State DMV is at fault with how long this has taken.? There should never be any title work that takes this long to process.Respectfully, [redacted]

In response to what was sent in from *** ***, sales manager. The car was sold as is and I did buy an extended warrantyThe problem is that I had asked numerous times to have them cancel the loan and give my Honda Back do to the problems with the ExplorerI also had been in contact with the financing company as to how this situation could be resolved and was told by more then one person that they was more then willing to work with The car lot on thisWhen I had brought this up to *** *** he responded with anger and a harsh tone in his voice. Telling me that in his years of selling cars he has never done such a thingAnd he kept telling me that I bought the car and was stuck with itFamily Ford did rent me a vehicle then took it away when I mentioned I obtained an attorney to help *** ***p called and stated that since I had an attorney he wanted his rental back. The main problem is the previous owner of the Explorer had owned the vehicle and had put over 50,miles on itShe was the girlfriend of the salesman who sold me the car. When the mechanic showed me and told me everything that was wrong with the vehicle that was major problems from well before I purchased it that there was no way that the previous owner did not know of the problems. I bought the Explorer September 30 and returned it to Family Ford on October 2ndToday's date is November 24th and they still have my vehicle and have put me in a very hard situation right before the holidays. As for being told all I had to pay was the deductible is a lieI have been told I'll have to pay from $down to $to even get my vehicle backThe vehicle I'm paying for and can not driveI believe that Family Ford should make this right since the Salesman knew there was major problems with the vehicle before his girlfriend traded it in and before he sold it to me without disclosing any of the problems
