We removed and replaced the whole roofWith a yr warranty 3tab shingleThe flat roof had shingles on itAnd we replaced those with a rubber roll roofing that is designed for that type of flat roofThe costumer had a leak in the flat roof after the job was doneI went back to find that the vinyl siding that was on the chimney stack is where the water was enteringWe removed the vinyl siding and replaced it with Masonite siding and wood trim, called all the word trim so that the water could not get inThe removal and replacement was not in the the original bidWe did this for freeBecause we are about helping our customersShe then claims to have still had a water leak in the same placeI returned to the house and I couldn't find a place where the water could enter the chimney stack or the roofingI inspected the roof and siding myselfAfter that I didn't hear from her again until she called me wanting a full refundEven though she, until this point, hadn't paid me in fullThere is a balance of $During this call I advised her to use the money she owed to hire a house inspector to inspect the roof and the siding on the chimneyAnd she would find out that the work we provided was correct in all mannerAnd that with the same money owed she needed to call someone to inspect the chimney capBecause that is the only place that had not been checkedAnd we don't work on chimney capsAnd that is the only place where the water could come through to the ceilingShe said she would call someone to check the chimney capThat is the last time I heard from her till I received your letter

We removed and replaced the whole roof. With a 25 yr warranty 3tab shingle. The flat roof had shingles on it. And we replaced those with a rubber roll roofing that is designed for that type of flat roof. The costumer had a leak in the flat roof after the job was done.... I went back to find that the vinyl siding that was on the chimney stack is where the water was entering. We removed the vinyl siding and replaced it with Masonite siding and wood trim, called all the word trim so that the water could not get in. The removal and replacement was not in the the original bid. We did this for free. Because we are about helping our customers. She then claims to have still had a water leak in the same place. I returned to the house and I couldn't find a place where the water could enter the chimney stack or the roofing. I inspected the roof and siding myself. After that I didn't hear from her again until she called me wanting a full refund. Even though she, until this point, hadn't paid me in full. There is a balance of $900. During this call I advised her to use the money she owed to hire a house inspector to inspect the roof and the siding on the chimney. And she would find out that the work we provided was correct in all manner. And that with the same money owed she needed to call someone to inspect the chimney cap. Because that is the only place that had not been checked. And we don't work on chimney caps. And that is the only place where the water could come through to the ceiling. She said she would call someone to check the chimney cap. That is the last time I heard from her till I received your letter.
