repairs it and it is our policy to verify that the repair has been made before

She claims she tested the machine when it came back from repair; however, when I picked up the machine she discovered the power cord was missing and she was surprised. She had me wait until she could call the repair man who had left the cord in his truck. She would have done that prior to my arrival had she tested the machine because she would have found the cord gone at that time. I think the machine was only cleaned & the repair was missed.
