This below named client purchased this ring appx 1.5 years ago. They originally called asking for a quick repair which is covered under warranty. They told us that they left the ring by a jeweler to get a quote on the repair. They decided to send the ring into us for repair. We repaired the ring and...

send it back to them When they received the ring back they said it wasn't the original ring, which it was. They then brought it to another jeweler "whom I am assuming switched out some diamonds as the diamonds in the ring when we received it are not the quality we use" and they called me to complain again.    We are not responsible for rings worked on by other jewelers. We still as a courtesy re made the ring for her/him and that took 8 weeks. After taking the time and re making the ring from scratch we then receive this complaint.    The certificate was the original certificate with the ring because we made them the same ring they originally ordered...   We have done all we can do and we will not do anything further for this client. We are appalled by this complaint and have no idea why someone would get what they want "even though it wasn't our responsibility" and still have issues....

We already stated in an earlier response that we made you a new ring. We are well aware that you don't have your original ring.

Spoke to the client today and he I sending the ring back for a refund :)

Review: I had bought a ring from Liori Diamonds, before a year was up I had noticed I had lost a diamond and some of the other diamonds were loose. They said they had lifetime warranty on the ring and to send it back for repair. When I had received the ring back it was not the ring I bought. In fact the gold was 14K not 18K the diamonds were much lesser quality which were very noticeable. My original appraisal was for $10,250 and this ring I got back was for $3,800. They said to send it back and they would "clean" the ring, the ring I got back the second time was the same quality (same) ring but the 14"k gold stamp on the band was filed off and 18K was shallow stamped on. They said send it back again we will remake the ring and agreed it would match the original appraisal. It has been 5 months that we have been waiting for the ring, in which it just arrived with a appraisal that has a same registration number on it as the one before and the quality of the diamonds are not the same. Both indicating on the "fake" appraisal and by looking at it.Desired Settlement: **I would like a full refund. Plus what was spent to send the ring to them several times**The ring we have doesn't match the original appraisal.**The appraisal has been doctored to say what they want it to say.**We have spent $700+ in appraisals and courier fees.We have all the proof and documentation to show what the ring looked like and what it looks like now.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]We have every item of proof that they deliberately tried to switch out the ring for a cheaper version. Furthermore the ring was never left unattended with any jeweller at any time other than sending it to Liori Diamonds. In addition the appraisal that we received from AGI, which we took upon our selves to acquire and pay for so that Liori diamonds could not dispute our claim by saying international gemologists appraisals shouldn't be taken seriously which that had told us and we have documented in our email correspondence has the same reference number as the new appraisal from AGI for the new ring. The reference numbers are the same but the values and detail are different. Each appraisal has a different reference number. Clearly there is a fraudulent collaboration between AGI and Liori Diamonds to deceive us. If that is not the case then Liori Diamonds has forged AGI 's documents. We are still waiting to hear back from a request sent to AGI on the details of that Registration number. Clearly this would be difficult and possibly causing the delay because there are two rings associated with the same reference number.

Review: Purchased a diamond engagement ring on 07/**/2013. The ring was advertised as a 4.41 Carat "Natural Fancy Brown Diamond" Engagement Ring in 18k Black Gold. The ring was subsequently sized and remained in original packaging until I made my proposal on 08/**/2013 (we were in Galway County, Ireland). My fiance notice blemishes in the stone, visible to the naked eye and discoloration of the metal band. The following day, 08/**/2013, we contacted Liori via email to let them know of our concern with the quality of the center stone and that the black gold finish to the band was discolored, assumably due to the heat applied during the sizing process. They told us to contact them upon arrival to the USA after 08/**/2013 and they will let us know what the process was to have it looked at. The ring was not worn after 08/**/2013 because it was sized too small. Before sending the ring back to Liori, we had an independent appraisal performed on the ring. The center stone was not only a laser enhanced stone (not natural as indicated on our receipt), but there was a crack to the center of the stone. In addition, many of the small stones were mismounted/crooked/loose, and one was even missing. Liori claimed this ring was natural, it was not. Liori claimed the quality of the center stone was SI 1, it was not even close (I 1). The Liori appraisal overexaggerated the total value of the piece by nearly 50%. We returned the ring as directed by Liori, advised them of the discrepencies, and requested the ring be corrected to the advertised piece in terms of quality of the center stone, the finish on the band and the small stones. They said they would remount the smaller stones but wouldn't do anything about the center stone. They even acccused us of damaging the stone and calling our appraisal "someone's opinion". [redacted], the "owner" said, "the easiest thing to do would be to refund your money" and we said "and", he replied "but I won't." Their own advertising and appraisal contradicts itself, much less a professional appraisal which confirms the inaccuracy and misleading nature of the piece. Not only has this been disappointng and a bad experience as a consumer, this has definitely taken some of the joy of the engagement process away from both me and my fiance.Desired Settlement: Refund in full for false advertising.

Response:

The ring was indeed as advertised. The customer was sent the ring prior to having it sized so they can check it out and approve the design "you conveniently left that part out". After they inspected the ring they sent it back to us for sizing. After a customer sends back a ring for sizing the ring is considered a final sale. The diamond was indeed enhanced as stated on the certificate. Enhanced diamonds at times could get rated different out of NY as most jewelers are not familiar with them and grade the enhancement as an imperfection. The customer already opened a case with their credit card company and won. What else do you want???

Hello how are you I wanted to let people know how bad their service is and they always try to avoid getting a bed review by paying people.

They sold me a fake diamond ring. Please stay away from them. They will ruin your engagement as they did mine.
