replacement, I would be willing to pay the dollar transfer fees if that will help you I believe this is fair and reasonableyou

I would like the opportunity to inspect the truck and put a value on itIs there documentation as to the value you stateI assure there was no intended deception about the prior damage to the truck.
Bensons has been in business for years in the upstateWe would like to resolve this matter

We went into the dealership to order a new vehicle, the new one was ordered incorrectly with missing features, understandable, we all make mistakes. The manager Robert P[redacted] took ownership of the situation that he was going to make things right... however how good is someones word if they do not follow through??? Iits been two days with 3 messages left and no returned phone call. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If a mistake has been made I need to be able to trust the employees as well as managers word when being told he'll call back...

Benson ford has settled the complaint

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Regards,

We have contacted the customer to schedule a time to correct the problem.

Thanks for your help. I have settled the matter with him..

Per the insurance company a used headlight assembly was installed on Mr. [redacted] vehicle. [redacted] has notified the insurance company of Mr. [redacted] dissatisfaction with the part and has requested a supplement to the claim to install a new part. We are waiting for the insurance company's...

representative to come out and inspect the vehicle. Hopefully they will agree to pay for a new part. We made the request almost a week ago.

I will have to have the customers file retrieved from off site storage which will take a few days. We may ,however, be able to respond quicker if Mr. [redacted] can scan and e-mail his copy of the service agreement. The time on a used car service contract is measured from the original in...

service date of the vehicle. The mileage expiration in the stated mileage on the contract term.

I do not believe Mr. [redacted] was unaware that he was buying a six cylinder truck. The truck does, however, have a Carfax history wich states "minor to moderate front end damage". There is no mention of airbag deployment. This would lower the value of the truck $1200-$1300.
In an effort to...

resolve the matter, I would be willing to pay Mr. [redacted] $2000 which he can apply to the purchase of another vehicle. For the record the purchase price was $12934.00. The $2000 represents 15% of the purchase price which is more than reasonable for the reduction in value.
Thank You,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
the 2 trucks Benson showed me were both v-8, 4
doors I had no reason to question the 3rd 1 the 2007 3 door was also a v-8 and
the paper work I gave Revdex.com shows the bank also has it listed as a v-8 which they
say they received from Benson ford … the fact is benson ford did hide the car fax
damage report… if the damage has even completely been repaired… according to the other 2 dealers where I tried to trade or sell the truck both came in at or about 4000 trade value due to the car fax report... I don’t believe
any reasonable adult would buy a truck that is not capable of doing what they
need or that had been in a crash… the fair and reasonable thing for Benson ford
to do is take back the truck and give back all the assets that were paid on the
truck and return the trade in or a replacement for the trade in… I will pursue
this with every avenue available to me until it is resolved...
Regards,[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] agreed to pay for half the repair. He asked the customer to bring the car to the dealership for the repair, however, he took it to a shop of his choice which charged $270.00. We have already mailed a check for $100 which is half the amount we could have repaired the car for. We...

will mail the customer a check for $35 as he indicated in an e-mail to us he would settle for half the repair cost.

Thank you sending your copy of the service agreement.  The contract states that for vehicles "that have no new vehicle limited warranty remaining"---"coverage ends at the earlier of the number of months purchased or the number of miles purchased from the signature date and current mileage."
The disclosure box shows the duration & expiration date as 60 08/25/2015. The mileage duration & expiration distance as 100000 , 100000. I too believe this is confusing. Clearly the expiration distance is 100000. But mileage duration leads one to believe it is 100000 when indeed it would have been 52456.
This is a Ford contract not a Benson contract. I am sorry there was a misunderstanding on the duration of the coverage. As to the cost, this is an insurance policy against mechanical breakdown. Like all insurance the cost seems high if you never need it---less so if it pays a claim for you.
According to the terms of the contract, it expired at 100000 miles. I am not sure how the amount of $333.33 was calculated . I would be willing to pay the customer $ 200 as a good will effort.

A document called a "we owe" is included in every deal that we make. The purpose of the document is to put in writing anything that is promised to a customer at the time of the purchase. Please see the attached we owe form that Ms [redacted] signed. It states she was to receive her first oil change...

free and a tank full of gas. The form protects the customer and also protects the company. I am sorry Mr. [redacted] promised her something he never intended to deliver. Ms. [redacted] got a great deal on the Honda. Please the attached deal recap sheet showing a profit of $340.00 on a $19,000.00 vehicle. If we had a better profit margin I would step up and buy the cargo cover. [redacted]
