In response to the complaint from *** *** the actual tenant was *** *** ** but we are not sure if it was *** *** ** who has made this complaint. *** ***, Maintenance Coordinator, did the move out inspection with *** **on December 14, 2016. *** informed Mr
*** that there was some cleaning that needed to be doneAll the blinds and windows were dirty and the bathroom also needed more cleaning. She did take pictures while she was there at the houseHe claimed that the house was dirty and not painted before *** *** ** moved inLipson Management did not handle the initial move in but we did receive a move in inspection from the prior management company that states the house was cleaned on 11/1/prior to his move in on 11/3/ Regarding the credit of days rent, *** ** turned in keys on December 13, and did not ask for any days credit or mention anything about turning in keys a day earlyWe scheduled the move out the next day December 14, at 1:pm. The keys were turned in on December 13, and days from that date would make the deposit reconciliation due on January 3, The deposit was completed and mailed out on January 3, *** *** ** did call and asked about the deposit reconciliation and *** spoke to him and informed him that we mailed it to his fathers address, *** ** *** ***, which was the address provided as the forwarding address from Mr*** Sr Our office explained this issue to the Owner of the property and gave Lipson Management approval issue *** *** ** an additional check for the amount of $for the cleaning to settle this matterI would appreciate this complaint not to be publishedThank you very much

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11[redacted]2, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, their facts are not entirely correct. Yes, they did find dust on the back side of the blinds, but not every blind and not much when they did. Shower in the bathroom had mold when we moved in and we scrubbed several days before we could even use it. The house was build in the 1930s and remodeled several times and they put new shower board in the shower but the glue was showing and we scraped much of it off and used chemicals but some remained and that was what she saw and NOT a dirty bathroom. We did, infact inform them of the early check out and requested one day credit when we turned in the key. We also mentioned it during the walk thru the following day and she did acknowledge our request and said she would speak to her supervisor. Anyway, they did send a check for the $85 for the cleaning fee. So even tho we believe they still owe us more, we know this company to be very shady and has very poor ratings and do not wish to take the time to take them to small claims court. We hope you will give them a poor rating based on our experience. Thank you for intervening. [redacted]
