Liquid Floors and Counters (Andrew Shepard)

I signed a contract for my countertop to be painted. I paid half upfront. Andrew did not show up to finish the job. Many voicemails and text messages were left which he would not reply to. After stating that I would get a lawyer, he stated that he would refund me the money I had paid him, but never did. He left the countertops a complete mess in certain areas. The top coat has waves, bumps, and dents in it. The drippings from the epoxy are all down the sides to the point where I cannot open some of the top cabinets and it had ripped off the paint in other areas. The countertop drippings were never sanded down. There is painter's tape that is lacquered on to the countertop and appliances as well as the walls in a way that it cannot be removed. Big chunks were taken out of the wall from attempting to remove the tape. He also destroyed brand new, never used, just installed appliances including the sink, dishwasher, cooktop stove which all have lacquer all over and need to be replaced. There was also a hole drilled out by the people who installed the countertop specifically for a soap dispenser which he had completely covered over with epoxy. The walls around my countertop, a baseboard heater, and my floor all need to be replaced due to the fact that there is lacquer all over them. My entire kitchen was left with plastic and painter's tape all over it, lacquer all over it, and everything thrown around the room. When he was supposed to show up, I was contacting him from the emergency room after taking mini strokes, which I had told him on voicemails and asked him to call me and let me know why he was not at my house and when he was coming. I kept explaining that I could not be under stress at that time due to my health, yet he still refused to answer my calls. I also asked for an explanation as to why he did not show up to finish the job and he refused to give me one.
