Review: My name is [redacted] and I recently purchased a whole kiteboarding set up from real watersports in North Carolina. Had it shipped to St. John in the Virgin Islands where I live. I received my kite blew it up properly. Very slowly massaging the wing tips. I have to take care of my gear because I work at a national park and am not wealthy in money. Hook up my lines put my harness on and here a hissing sound. Starboard wing tip blowout. I call realwatersports and they put me in touch with [redacted] the liquid force rep. I tell both real and [redacted] all I want to do is return the kite get a brand new one. They insist that I should just let them send me a new bladder. Now I have to put a new bladder in? No I want you guys to send me a new kite. [redacted] then says he will send me a new harness ( which I don't need) and another set of fusion pads to make up for the comp pads that blew out along with a new bladder, and that in the mean time I should just patch my brand new kite and give it a try. First session the kite is good at boosting but not unhooking. It really doesn't like to unhook it just falls back into the wind window. I put my kite up and the zipper breaks on my bag. Seriously? I tell [redacted] he says he will send a replacement bag. Second session the chicken loop pops out of its red handle and my kite goes flying out of my hands and I feel a pop. At first I thought my harness popped. No it was liquidforce brand new safety leash. Very poor quality webbing just shredded. Kite is now gone probably in the DR( that's Dominican Republic) And I have a nice two hour swim back in. (Needed the workout had ice cream for breakfast) Seriously, had I been in the [redacted] channel I'd be dead and you guys would not be dealing with me. So I send [redacted] pictures of my wonderful session. And by pictures I mean the shredded webbing because that's all that's left. He leaves me a voicemail saying that he is also going to send me a comp leash because those don't break. Wtf? Why are u selling leashes that break? It's webbing, what's that cost them? because badass webbing I get from Tennessee is $.35 a foot and they charge $25 for a leash that breaks. Oh but their comp leashes don't? I call [redacted] and explain that no I don't want a leash because my kite is gone. I want a new kite like I said in the beginning! [redacted] says I can buy a complete kite for 700. Thanks but no thanks. Never got anything but the stupid bladder for a kite I don't have. So far not impressed with this company. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund me the money for a brand new 2014 nrg 12 meter kite complete at the retail price plus shipping. $1869.99+shipping($150)= $2019.99
