Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I do not know the company 'H & E Services, LLCIs this a company [redacted] is accompanied with? *** [redacted] states, "***'s front steps because the where over five layers of paint on the surface..."This supports my claim beautifullyThese layers of paint have to go somewhereThey are now all mixed in my mulch; bags of brand new mulch There are actually bags of mulch around each side of the stepsI asked to have replacedI was being generous There are also chips of paint in my front yard but the lawn can not be replaced [redacted] also states, ....: [redacted] didn't ask me to cover all her mulch and plaints..." The initiative should have been done to cover my plants and mulch particularly since I told him to take care of my plants and mulch because they were brand new; see my original complaint The company always needs to take safe guards to protect the customer's belongingsWashing off the plants and mulch does not eliminate paint chips which he knew would be flying off the steps Based on my attached texts and photos, you will see that [redacted] is being dishonest My original remedy request stands [redacted] is not allowed on my propertyHe didn't safe guard my property the first time, did not agree to fix what he broke, is not being honest in his response to my complaint and so can no longer be trusted [redacted] also states, "If you need any before and after pictures..." Awesome job on my walkway and patio!! Highly recommend, Hugh and his staff were professional and finished the job on time!

We contracted with Hugh S*n of Liquid Stone Finishes of Cheshire, CT to resurface our concrete pool deck in The work was performed on time and in a professional matterWe did have one areas that needed a slight repair within the warranted period and it was fixed right away with no questions asked We would definitely use Hugh again for any future projectsSincerely,

Hugh did a great job on my patio and it was well like by those that have seen itFrom a painted concrete slab to a beautiful slate outdoor place to enjoySo far it has weathered very well and is looking as good as it did when he finished itI was most happy about the way he promised to do the job and followed through on everything he told meI have had a few contractors that all checked out good but then the work they do is not what they promiseHugh is someone you can trust and he does what he signs up forGreat job Hugh!!

I have refaced over a hundred plus front steps in the last four years and have never had a problem like thisWhen I first meet with *** to look at her front steps I explained in detail the steps of doing the job including that when I
have to grind paint off the surface that I am going to create a lot of dust but will power wash down the front of there house
The process that I go through if there is layers of paint or if the concrete surface is very rough is to first grind the paint off the steps using a inch hand grinder with a diamond grinding wheel on it This process is an incredibly difficult, laborious task and took four hours to complete on ***'s front steps because the where over five layers of paint on the surfaceOnce I am done this step the front steps is ground down to concrete and look great! It could be left (as is) but my Liquid Stone business is a process of coating the steps with layers of products leaving a very tough decorative overlay on the entire concrete surface
After hearing *** was upset, I returned later that night and once again washed down the plaints, mulch and raked the mulch, hoping that this would resolve the problem*** called me again and told me that she wanted me to replace all of the plants and mulch that where in front of her home, I offered to replace the mulch feet on each side of her front step but was told that this was not good enough For the next hour *** harassed me sending me over text messages but would not pick up there phone when I tried to call her again to work this out It become very obvious to me that *** is trying to just get out this contract because her front steps look good as they are now that I have ground all the paint off the surface
*** didn't ask me to cover all her mulch and plaints with plastic and I have never done this on any of the other projects that I have completed The only mistake that I did on this job was not to effective wash off the plants and mulch before leaving the jobI returned later that same day to wash everything down again
I have done nothing wrong on ***'s job other then staring the job *** has threaten me over an over with reporting me to the Revdex.com and other CT agencies if I did return the outstanding $dollars owned on her contractI told her that I have done thing wrong and there is no need to waste all our time going through these steps, just let me finish the job she will love it when I am complete *** needs to honor the contract that she approve with my business and let me complete the job
To resolve this issue I will replace the mulch feet on each side of her steps and complete the process of apply my products to her front steps
If you need any before and after pictures of this job please let me know I have a lot of them

Not sure what else I can do, if you would like for me to supply you will the material that I purchased to complete your job I will be happy to I have tried and tried to make *** happy and to complete the job but she only wants to get out of the binding contract she has with me and my company As you can see from the text messages that *** sent me I was trying to work things out so she would be happy but now that her front steps look great with all the paint ground of it she wants out of the contract I am not willing to take a loss on this job because of some paint chips in a few feet of mulch, the paint chips only where a few feet to either side of the front steps not all the way from one side of the house to the otherShe first told me that I had to replace all the mulch, bushes and plants along the entire from of her home Non of which have been effected by the work I have done so far I am willing to replace the mulch on feet of ether side of the step and then finished the job or supply her with the material I purchased to complete the steps

If [redacted] will not let me on her property then I don't know how I am going to fulfill the contract she approved with my company.  As per the contract letter which states I require 50 percent ($425.00) of the total sum of the contract so I can purchase the material to complete the job.  I have already spent over 4 hours with myself and an employee on [redacted]'s job I have the material which is imported from [redacted].  I will be happy to supply [redacted] with this material that I purchased but that the only refund that I am willing to give her.  
 
I would also like my sign back that she had been holding hostage.  
 
If anyone would like to see the text messages that [redacted] sent me I know this would clearly show that she is just trying to get out the contract she signed with my company.  [redacted] has been nothing but nasty to me,  I have done nothing different on her job as the other 50 plus front steps that I have completed in the last 4 years.

They  are now all mixed in my mulch; 10 bags of brand new mulch.  There are actually 15 bags of mulch around each side of the steps. I asked to have 10 replaced. I was being generous.  There are also chips of paint in my front yard but the lawn can not be replaced.
