6/16/Mr*** purchased the Kia Amanti from us. He was informed by our Sales Manager that our vehicles are sold without warranty, as is, however, should he have any problems or concerns to contact our sales managerSince 1984, we have gained the reputation of being
willing to work with our customers and taking excellant care of themUpon purchasing the vehicle, a short period of time after having it, he called our Sales Manager and voiced some concerns about the vehicleHe was not specific as to what was going wrong with it, but the Sales Manager asked him to bring it inHe was informed that we would do our best to see how we could fix the vehicleHe came in and after talking to the Sales Manager, Jonathan told him that our mechanic would take a look at it. Mr*** was not satisfied with this and refused to allow us to work on the vehicleHe insisted on taking it to the Kia DealershipWe did not hear from him after this and his first payment became due. We sought to make contact with him over the phone, but he never responded to our calls.A late notice was sent out by mail
On 8/3/Mr*** father came in and made the payment for him; He state that Mr*** was homeless and living in the vehicleHe said that he would make the payment for him this time, but Mr*** would not be getting his Social Security check until the 1stHe would have to get permission from Mr*** to use a portion of that for his car paymentWe would have to wait until then to receive a payment because "we did not want the car back"We were informed that the vehicle had been "trashed"We were willing to work with them in their situation
Shortly after, we began to receive emails from Mr*** stating that he was unsatified with the vehicle and that it was having problemsWe attempted to call him once again, but he never answered or returned our calls. On 8/18/we received an Impound noticedWe went to get the vehicleIt was completely "trashed"; holes in the interior, black marker on the interior and exterior, leather scratched off of the door panels, windshield spider cracked etcWe have several photographs of the condition of the vehicle which are availble upon request
Additionally, we have not received the car payment for August
It was our desire to assist Mr*** in his concerns and seek to repair the vehicle, however, he did not respond to our phone callsWe reached out to him to make this right, and he ignored our callsWe now have a vehicle that has been rendered as "scrap" due to several severe cosmetic damages
