Review: In February 2014, my husband and I personally met with and paid [redacted] (cash - we have an email receipt for it) at the warehouse for a queen mattress set to be delivered to our house. We were going to bring it home but the ones there were water damaged. After two weeks of texting, he finally delivered...the wrong size. He claimed he didn't know what happened but "[redacted]" who was with him said he gave our mattress to the customer prior to our delivery. D left the queen boxspring in the middle of my bedroom and said he would bring the correct mattress the next day. I waited and texted and got no reply. I have been waiting and texting and emailing since March to get a refund and have the boxspring removed from my house to no avail. He asked in one email for my address. One text said it would rectify the situation after I informed the person my money was illegally being kept but we have yet to receive our refund. I have saved every text sent and received and all emails. I even gave him the chance to give us a different mattress instead but he chose to refund us. Still waiting. We cannot afford a lawyer nor can we afford to buy another mattress without that refund. His lack of customer service and blatant disregard for legal liability is inexcusable. It is interesting how "Liquidation Works" is no longer advertised on Craigslist which is where we saw the original ad with a former Steeler player's endorsement. I wonder what that player thinks of his reputation being associated with such fraudulent actions? I don't know what I can legally do with this boxspring sitting in my house since we want a refund and have yet to receive it. I have saved 39 texts, 1 voicemail, and 5 emails from this situation. I don't know how to attach them as files in "Step 5"...Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $115.25 that we paid for the queen mattress set and either have D remove this boxspring or be legally permitted to remove this boxspring from our house without it affecting the full amount of the refund since we DID NOT want it and repeatedly told D to remove it.
